He won't have Lane Kiffin to kick around anymore. I didn't root against Ole Miss, and in fact wished them well, but I am relieved that they lost. now maybe the circus can end. It's great that the Ole Miss fans love Pete Golding, but it was insufferable the way the media was deifying him like he's the best thing since sliced bread. And now the Kiffin hating can start settling down. It was an awful bore. how can you blame someone for switching jobs if they believe it's in their best interest?

Find another whipping boy, Paul!

Didn't every single LSU fan currently in existence "blame" Saban for leaving LSU, via Miami, to coach at Alabama?

Overnight, he went from a beloved ex-coach to a midget demon and has haunted the fevered and demented dreams of LSU fans ever since.

Isn't that true?

I saw an AI gif of Finebaum crying somewhere earlier. I can't find it now. It was good though.

Lol, you make it sound like Saban planned a 2 year stint at Miami biding his time until that coveted bammer job came open.

This is what you have to understand, as a collective, the LSU fan base is the largest group of hypocrites with zero self awareness in history.

The question asked by the LSU poster was who in the whole wide world could ever blame a man for taking a job that he felt was better than the one he currently had.

Saban clearly felt the Alabama job was better than the Miami job or he would not have taken the Alabama job.

So, the answer to "who can blame someone for taking a better job opportunity" is every single LSU fan in the entire world can blame someone for taking a better job.

What a dumb frick. Saban openly stated that LSU was his dream job and never should have left for Miami.

In case you didn't know, Saban didn't leave LSU for Alabama. Saban left Miami for what he felt was a better job at Alabama.

Again, the question posed by LSU fans of who could ever blame someone for taking what they feel is a better job is every LSU fan, ever. They not only blame Saban, they hate his guts for it and wish him nothing but the very worst.

Therefore, logically, is should not be difficult for LSU fans to understand how Ole Miss fans feel.

Surely they can see the parallels in the situation that Ole Miss finds themselves in with Kiffin leaving for LSU with Saban leaving for Alabama, after a short two years in Miami.

To them, it felt like Saban had betrayed them, no matter if he really left Miami and not LSU. The LSU fan-base curses his name to this day and still perform daily Voodoo rituals directed against him and his family.

Now they are saying how can anyone be blamed for taking another job?

No, you are wrong. The whole point I was responding to was this quote by the OP.

You seem to not understand what is being discussed. That's okay, just try harder.

no one blamed him, dipshit.....but yeah the large majority of us were pissed he chose to come back to a team we play annually so i 100% understand OM's disdain right now. but the media and other teams piling on, while entertaining how goofy and hypocritical they have been, it does get tiresome, if you give a shite. luckily i can laugh at a lot of things, myself included, so why get caught up in all this silly shite by randoms we don't even know.
