This is awesome. The media made it all about Lane and now the media is reporting that they've changed the story to Ole Miss.

I think more importantly Lane made it about Lane. But I did find this snippet interesting
quote:

Kiffin did not attend the game and instead took in the LSU women’s basketball game to support Coach Kim Mulkey, but word spread among the Ole Miss players that Kiffin, according to sources, had sent queries to some at ESPN about potentially appearing in the broadcast booth during the game for a segment. ESPN wasn’t interested.

McDonough confirmed that Lane had tried to get on during the game and also during GameDay.

Good for you guys, does this mean you guys will finally stfu about Lane? Doubtful! You guys are the ones continually making it about Lane....media, pissed off fans of other schools....its incessant. This article would not need to be written if you guys would stop bringing up Lane every fricking second you get

Your coach is begging ESPN to let him on during our games and somehow Ole Miss is the problem.

Every time Lane spouts his bullshite, Chris Low, McMurphy, etc. set it straight. You'll figure it out.

ESPN has mentioned Lane more than LeBron in the last month. You honestly think they wouldn’t have put him on the broadcast?

Does this mean Ole Miss fans will stop talking about Lane?

like anyone knows shite....begging? Give me a fricking break. Media reported it so he must have been begging like mad man! the guy has done nothing but congratulate you, stayed out of your way and loan over his coaches to you since you wouldn't let him coach. You're just a bunch of ungrateful bastards ;)

So can Ole Miss fans quit talking about our coaches and players now too?

It would be much appreciated

He only congratulated us in back handed ways while despising our fans and tried to sabotage our program but sure we should be grateful

9:20ish mark. McDonough called the game.

You know sometimes you will get exactly what you asked for, and I for one am looking forward to that day.

Congrats to Ole Miss I'm actually very happy for their fans. I actually hope they can hold together this type level of play under Golding long term. Right now, he's doing it with players Lane recruited and with an OC that will be going to LSU afterwards. But that doesn't mean Pete can't bring in an OC that can do just as good. He's just going to have to ensure he can recruit at a high level and work the transfer portal as good as Lane could. I wish them luck!
