He's just pouting because Ohio St lost.

The difference is, Alabama was the #9 team losing to the #1 team, not the #2 team losing to the #10 team.

Did you resent his comments or agree with them?

I kinda agree with them.

Poll:
When Bama hired Deboer you were expecting Cignetti acumen and now youre disappointed. Upvote, yes; downvote, no.

Yet he didn't lie.

That was not the Bama we are used to seeing. There was no sense of urgency. No passion. They were just as he said...there. It has been a long time, but Bama was manhandled and broken just like they did to everyone else throughout the 2010's.

Look, I hate Bama, but they’ve earned the right to have the benefit of the doubt.

That said, performances like yesterday will definitely begin to tarnish Saban’s hard work.

Its back to pre-Saban Bama. They will kick and scream and downvote anything relating to the start of their fall from the top. But if you know early 2000s Bama you know they are looking more and more like the original Bama they are

Yes, all of Alabama's history was erased by a single game.

I think it highlights the stupidity of the 12 team format.

I agree with Herbie. The past two years DeBoer has put a lot of dents in the Bama reputation. Its why he'll be a stop gap coach until the next hire. He wont here here in two years.

Nah, Saban earned the benefit of the doubt. He’s gone though.

The shine is off. Bama is just another SEC team now.

It happens when your starting QB (who leads the nation in fumbling the ball) turns it over yet again when they could have cut the lead to 10-3 or 10-7 before half.

I’m (almost) done with DeBoar.

No one with a functional brain could have expected Saban like results post Saban. With the introduction of the portal and NIL, not even Saban could deliver Saban like results.

You are seeing it at Georgia. You are seeing it at Ohio State. It has become a game of who gets the best transfer QB.

It is going to be VERY hard for any team to have a true dynasty. It is now the NFL, QB trumps everything.

It was a single game. In the past, you didn't have the #1 team playing the #9 team until starting last year.

Our offensive line is in transition. I think what the Indiana game shows is that he should have brought in some covid senior transfers who fit his scheme rather than trying to piece it together with existing players who don't fit his scheme. That's how Indiana did it.

If anything it means the rest of the SEC sucks because Alabama beat every SEC team it faced this year.

Before Saban arrived Alabama was arguably the best program in history. A blue blood along with Ohio State, Michigan and Notre Dame. If you erase the saban years, Alabama is still a blue blood.

Why do people here let emotion turn them into full blown crayon eating idiots?

You mean like claiming the accomplishments of another team as our own?

You guys like to claim Alabama is living in the past, but LSU fans are constantly living in next year.

You've lost 6 in a row to Alabama.

I don't see a bunch of NCAA sanctions hitting us to bring us back to the early 2000s.

You act like he inherited the program in 2015.

This. They are tumbling down the mountain and will pitch a fit firing coach after coach chasing the unattainable ghost of pre-NIL, pre-transfer portal Nick Saban where he could buy the best high school recruits and they couldn't transfer.

That world is extinct. They are akin to confederates longing for a return to slavery in the post Civil War era.
