Ole Miss struck gold with LSU poaching Kiffin before the playoffs.

Kiffin is a great recruiter, and talent evaluator, but he has always blown the big games.

Removing Kiffin from Ole Miss's staff is the secret saice that's propelling Ole Miss to new heights.

Ole Miss knows this and was smart enough to take the opportunity to not let Kiffin anywhere near the program once the playoffs started. It has worked like a charm.

Great job Ole Miss! Yall played this whole thing PERFECTLY!

Kiffin lost to Brian Kelly, Billy Napier and Mark Stoops with what many have considered the greatest roster ever in 2024

As an Aggie I am uniquely qualified to consult on the topic of football teams, coaches, and programs who should win, but don't. I have spent decades building my current level of expertise.

My bill for my services will be in the mail.

Happy New Year!

Hmm.....I know a Texas team who resembles that remark.

Only 2 things come from Texas....steers and queers, and last I checked, UT are steers.

I'm not saying Lane will have great success at LSU, but if dumbass Les and Orgeron did, then the sky's the limit for Lane, unless he screws it up.

We had the #1 scoring D in the conference in 2024. Pete did his job. It was red zone play calling and going for it on 4th down in stupid situations that cost us last season. No way does Ole Miss win tonight with Lane running the show.

Facts.

To be fair he spent the week of the Kentucky game in Texas stalking the 23 yr old girl that broke up with him. So any good LSU fan would give him a pass on that one.

Shocking part is the other 2 coaches that beat him both got fired and their teams got into a bidding war over him....that's wild.

It's wild to me that Ole Miss knew this and still begged him to sign an extension that would've made him the highest paid coach in the conference.

You do dumb things when you are on a run make the playoffs.

Sometime unanswered prayers are greater than you know.

Time for LSU fans to move on or maybe talk to a doctor about mental health.

Rebs are in good place, time to let it go little fellas.

That's borderline incompetence from your AD.

LSU fans didn't start this thread.

Ole Miss, thank you for letting us take Lane off your hands. He sounds terrible!

Our future coaches looked pretty damn good tonight

You do realize it’s essentially LSU coaches that called the game tonight right?

It is funnier if LSU fans don’t learn this until later on.

Kiffin would have gone for it when Pete kicked the field goals.
