In the world today, regardless of NIL or teams that don’t have top NIL money, you have to have great coaching. Players are hit or miss. There’s are players like Ingram who are 3 stars who end up winning a heisman. And there are 5 stars like Williams who become a bust. But end the end, the great coaches win. The know how to get the best out of their players. We’ve lost by 28 before and it was for a NC game. But it didn’t feel like this.

Our coaching staff is abysmal. I cringe even listening to DeBoer at halftime going into the locker room. He seems lost. And maybe Bama is too big for him. Our OC has to go. Our play calling is abysmal. We are not a physical team. As a bama alum and fan, I’ve never seen Bama not be able to run the ball.

Bama deserves better but unfortunately we need to settle in for an even worse year next year if they keep the ole gang together.

I think we’d have better odds of getting better coaches now, than after Saban left. Nobody wanted to step into his shadow and I don’t blame them

Don’t be surprised if about 30 kids leave starting tomorrow.

Don't think that happens. But if it does are there 30 guys on this roster worth keeping?

We lost 25 last year, and 40 before that. I’d say it hurts regardless

They just interviewed Smart. He said something like the following - 'We need to be who we are which is a physical team. We need to take over this game by being more physical than them'.....Has Deboer ever said anything close to this? Has he ever used the word physical? Or dominate in an interview?........Deboer isn't the guy for Bama. He'd probably look at our 1970s teams and shutter from the violence.

So jealous of Ga - Kirby embodies every bit of the Saban DNA that Bama so desperately needs.

“Well you want to go out and execute, right? And consistently go out and make play after play. Ummm and that’s the thing. You just keep playing the game and the game will find you. And we have the guys to do that. Words words words”

I believe we have great players. We just have poor coaches that can't get it out of them or use them.

Have seen DeBoer give multiple speeches in person. Every time it’s word salad platitudes with no intention.

You think you just fell out of a coconut tree? Our offense exists in the context of all the 1st down misses and 2nd and 10 runs that came before it.

I've never heard it. But neither here nor there. He obviously doesn't teach it because we are as finesse as I have ever seen us.

I would like to see what our run game could be unburdened by what our run game has been.

How on earth does our past success somehow "burden" us into being worse than #115 in the country???
