I'm man enough to admit when I'm wrong. We were a fraud team this year and we were lucky to even make the playoff given the way the playoff is currently constructed. The committee gave us the benefit of the doubt because of our name, and should have dropped us after the Auburn and Georgia games. Looking at it objectively, we needed Auburn doing everything possible to hand us the Iron Bowl on a silver platter just to squeak by, and the Georgia loss was worse than what the score indicated. Oklahoma was a fraudulent team as well, and the fact that it was a dog fight for a while is embarrassing.

I give OP credit for stating what a lot of us already stated.
Obviously, it would have been better for Bama to miss the CFP, raise hell about it, and avoid today’s humiliation.
