I think we all were the last time we hired a guy from South Alabama. Turned out pretty okay though

I think Wommack is fairly solid. He is still making young coach errors, he will continue to grow.

I want some grown arse men coaching OL/DL though.

If we start tomorrow's game in Zone I'm gonna lose it.

I think zone makes some sense tbh. Gotta switch coverages up against quality QBs.

I'm sure we will. I'm just glad he wasn't too stubborn to change it up against OU when it became clear it wasn't working.

It's always weird to me.... against Oklahoma.... the players were BEGGING to play Man. We switch and we blow them out. That's on the staff.

Is he coaching already?

ETA: This is Christian Robinson, current OLB coach.

Pretty sure that isn't him. He shows up on Google as a white guy, pretty tall.

I don't think he's leaving. Robinson is the OLB coach. This guy is the assistant OLB coach.

That's right. You can hire unlimited assistant coaches (pretty sure that's right). The catch is any hired outside of the regular staff, they can't recruit off campus.

From Nick Saban, to Mark Ingram… to Cameron Cleminson, Bama has quite the pipeline from Michigan State.

Why do we need an assistant OLB coach?

Because staff isn’t really limited anymore outside of salary pool.
