6-0 Vanderbilt (3-0 / 3-0)

4-3 Alabama (2-3 / 2-0)

3-4 Florida (1-3 / 2-1)
3-4 Auburn (1-4 / 2-0)

2-1 Texas A&M (1-1 / 1-0)
2-3 Tennessee (2-2 / 0-1)
2-3 Arkansas (2-3 / 0-0)
2-3 Oklahoma (1-2 / 1-1)
2-4 Kentucky (1-4 / 1-0)

1-1 Georgia (0-1 / 1-0)
1-1 LSU (1-1 / 0-0)
1-4 Texas (1-3 / 0-1)

0-3 Missouri (0-2 / 0-0)
0-4 Ole Miss (0-3 / 0-1)*
0-4 S Carolina (0-2 / 0-2)
0-5 Miss State (0-1 / 0-4)

*Ole Miss does have a Q3 loss.

I feel like as we enter SEC play this weekend, barring a miracle those bottom 4 teams are likely not going to make the Tournament… zero Quad 1 or Quad 2 wins in OOC play is tough to overcome.

That means we’re probably looking at 12 teams vying for either 9 or 10 spots.

That's an embarrassingly weak OOC schedule.

Whoever organized Vandy’s OOC schedule is due for a raise. The guy managed to create a schedule that gave them three Q1 wins and three Q2 wins without ever playing a Top 25 team

vs #28 St Mary’s (in the Bahamas)
vs #31 SMU
@ #34 UCF
vs #58 VCU (in the Bahamas)
@ #67 Wake Forest
@ #111 Memphis

If SMU slides up one more spot in the NET rankings, that will move from a Q2 to a Q1.

To see how not even the quad system is completely infallible, compare the Q1 and Q2 opponents of Bama and Vandy.

Alabama’s 4-3 record was against #2, #4, #7, #10, #29, #36, #66,

Their three losses were against #2, #4, #7. They play #49 tonight. Not included in those Q1 and Q2 numbers are wins against Florida State, UNLV, and Maryland. Maryland is likely to see their net improve - 5 of their games, all losses, were against top 24 teams.

Vanderbilt’s 6-0 record was against #28, #31, #34, #58, #67, #111

It will work itself out, but Vandy may, or may not, be as good as their net ranking says they are.

Have no idea. I dont follow them very closely. I grew up in KY listening to UK on the AM radio with Caywood Ledford on the call and the Baron coaching the team...

FSU was an exhibition game I believe, but yes I agree with your point.

Auburn is the same. Losses to #1, #4, #7, and #14. Wins over #29, #32, and #98.

In all likelihood, Bama and Auburn both would be unbeaten had they faced Vandy’s schedule.
