With the news of the Chiefs leaving MO - now is the time for our University and Alumni to turn up the heat on our State leaders to prioritize Mizzou football. No excuse not to have all the resources we need to succeed. Full steam ahead.

Agreed let’s even paint Kansas City black & gold instead of red

STL Cards or big red were close second to chiefs growing up. Once they left I tried to follow but lost interest. I suspect same will happen with chiefs. Not my states team any longer. Saturdays >> Sundays now.

As a former STL Rams fan I feel you on this. Obviously I still enjoy NFL, but it is definitely second fiddle.
If there is one thing KCMO and STL football fans will now be totally aligned on it’s the intense greed of the NFL and its Owners

Kansas is getting what they deserve
State of Kansas grabs ankles
There's a reason nothing worth a shite was built around the sports complex for 50 years. The fans show up to tail gate and nothing else.

Dear Lord, that's an absolute perversion of state taxes. There's not even a fiction of recovering anything.

Like 8 regular season home games is going to have a massive economic impact on the area surrounding the stadium. That is a wildly overestimated figure. The only people that are going to make money off this are concrete companies, contractors,.......and the Hunts.

A failed corporate mugging of the STL and KC taxpayers.

has there been a study yet showing publicly funded stadiums/sports developments are beneficial? All the historical studies have shown it to be a huge money loser as of a few years back.

Going all the way back to the Roman Colossium, no stadium built with public funds benefits the public financially in the long run.

We went to Arrowhead for the first time last year. Traffic sucked getting in, and we had to wait an hour for an Uber to get out.
We went to Jerry's World on Thanksgiving to watch the Chiefs. AT&T Stadium is right outside of Downtown Arlington. We were able to park downtown and take a shuttle from a local bar to and from the stadium. I was able to drive right out with minimal traffic. Had we chosen to Uber, we could have walked a few blocks to Texas Live and waited out the crowd.
It was a much better experience than the Arrowhead one.

The sports complex is a mess post game....unless its a baseball game. It doesn't take long for 19k to leave the lots.

Why are you asking someone who is "regularly completely wrong"? Speaking of which, feel free to lay out what I am wrong about.

Just because you are wrong at times doesn't mean I am going to treat you like a leper. That is something petty someone like you would do.

That he was going to have to prove he could make all the throws?
LINK
That there was enough skill talent if Beau could make all the throws?
LINK
That it wasn't a given Beau could win from the pocket?
LINK
That if he couldn't hit the deep outer 1/3 teams would load the box?
LINK
That Beau would have to have all the throws to hit 9 wins?
LINK
That there would be ceiling on the offense if Beau won the job?
LINK
That they would go 8-4?
LINK
That his legs would factor into them leading the SEC in rushing?
LINK
Where was I wrong pre season?
