What people really want to know is how many teams have given up over 70 points and won?

To be fair it’s not 6 because we throttled back in 2012.

And its 5 with one of them being the only time ND has lost at home by 50 or more to Purdue.

2021 Kansas
2021 v Oklahoma
2020 v Oklahoma
2020 @ Texas Tech
2017 Maryland
2016 @ California
2015 @ TCU
2012 v Oklahoma
2012 Baylor
2011 v Oklahoma

2003 v Oklahoma
2000 v Oklahoma
1997 UCLA
1995 @ Notre Dame

1989 Baylor
1988 Houston
1987 @ Houston
1984 v Iowa

1973 v Oklahoma
1908 @ Oklahoma
1904 @ Chicago

Makes me realize how good the 1963 team was the most they gave up in a game was 13 to A&M & Arkansas both on the road. Gave up 6 to Roger Staubach in the bowl.

*bold indicates I was at that game
*italics indicates the dark ages of Texas football (1984-93 & 2010-21)

PS: As horrible as that list is and god it's horrible at least Arkansas & Texas A&M never did what Chicago, Houston, Baylor, TCU, Maryland, and Kansas have all done

How many have given up 77 and failed to score a single point in that game?

It's four altogether then, trusting that your calculations are correct, and I do.

Sewanee almost added another one in 1905 with a Bama loss of 42-6 but, not quite.

Three times.

60 in 1931 vs USC
52 in 1995 vs Florida
51 in 2006 vs Tennessee

Next closest is 48 vs Oklahoma in the Rose Bowl but we won that game.

That was a really easy 42. Bama could have easily scored 2 or 3 more times.

Then it’s 4 times

51 vs GA Tech in 1999 - overtime game, but still over 50 points

I'm not sure this is a comprehensive list.. but this is what I got Googling the question.

1915: 61 points at Georgetown (0-61 final score)
1920: 63 points at Navy (0-63 final score)
1945: 60 points at Duke (0-60 final score)
1995: 63 points vs. Florida (7-63 final score)
2003: 63 points vs. Clemson (17-63 final score)

I know Spurrier's Florida teams hung 50+ on us at least twice..

I don't feel like looking through all of these...
