Dude has been the centerpiece of basically all of Bama’s biggest defensive plays in the past 2 years or at the very least in the vicinity of them along with Bray. Very much reminds me of PS2, regardless of number on the jersey.

Also pretty funny how much California influence has crept its way into the halls of the university. Don’t think you can say it’s not intentional by the Greg Byrnes and (formerly) Stuart Bells of the administration. Most of these people are from north of the Mason Dixon or west of the Mississippi.

Brown has made some great plays in the secondary to be sure.

But he's also whiffed on a shite load of run tackles too.

ZB is very much appreciated.

The board is going to downvote but Deonte Lawson appreciation should be much higher. He had a great Oklahoma game. Almost caused a TO with a punch out and he saved the season at USC.

This whole defense is widely underappreciaby the fans and national media. All we heard about was Oklahomas defense while everyone forgot that I. The first game Oklahoma could do absolutely nothing unless we gave them a short field.

No they can’t and thus the level of frustration and bickering you’re seeing now.

He is one of our best tacklers.

Also everyone misses a tackle, misses a throw, misses a block, drops a pass. It happens.

The issue is only when it becomes consistent.

Try to be realistic

If you want to see a secondary that is noted for punishing tackling, then just skip right over any Bama film.

Nike needs to make us better gloves because hand tackling is our game.

Unfortunately, the game has changed. Punishing tackling often leads to targeting calls now. It's more important to just wrap up and make a sure tackle, you have to pick and choose when you can lay the lumber these days. We still make some big hits, but you can't afford to lose players for targeting.

Entire defense has been really good in every game except the opener, especially considering some of the situations they’ve been put in.

Extremely proud of them and hoping they can rise to the occasion in their toughest test yet. Heisman QB and some receivers that have made some amazing catches this year.

He’s whiffed on some tackles but I wouldn’t say a shite load. Domani Jackson is the one that doesn’t like to tackle.

Zabien is an elite corner and he will be remembered in the same category as Marlon, PS2, Kareem Jackson, etc.

One of the benefits of becoming a more zone coverage leaning defense is your corners get opportunities to play the ball instead of the player a bit more. We've definitely seen the dividends for this scheme shift this year. Brown has made two incredibly consequential plays that were only possible by watching the QB's eyes.

Should be in the NFL right now from an ability standpoint and we get him for one more year. Absolute stud.

I was absolutely thrilled to see the arrival of Keon Keeley to the party. He has played extremely well for a few games this year. He was great against Oklahoma. The light has come on for him after 2+ years. He was a 5- star we stole from Notre Damn and one of my favorites that year.
We now have a pass rush. Hallelujah!
Just hope someone doesn’t buy him away from us next year.

Loved the series in the Iron Bowl where Brown made three consecutive plays to force the 3 and Out.
