That was the biggest hire since he will keep this roster intact. Can't wait to see our Returning D

He is a good defensive coordinator. He was not retained solely to retain the roster. Let’s at least see what the roster looks like before we jump out a window.

Don't blame Durkin. He's not responsible for the financial offers being negotiated.

He sucked an extra $1 million out of the football budget. How much would that money help to retain players?

Dude, he is a good defensive coordinator. Talent does not matter if you cant coach it. Didnt you learn anything last year

Nobody is going to keep these guys be if they dont get what they want and if they want to go. Its just the way it is. We knew, or some of us, knew the guys were going to bolt if Hugh got fired or when he got fired. Let them rebuild and see if better coaching can make a difference

Oklahoma had 30 players hit the portal last year. This year, they made the playoffs.

so you think a coaches contract affects NIL money?

I don’t think, I know. Just this year, Brent Vegetables took a pay cut to add money to Oklahoma’s NIL funds.

Auburn has said how much NIL money they are giving out. A coaches salary, in any sport, doesn't have a damn thing to do with NIL money.

Im amazed at how people are on the edge of their seats right now at the whims of young men. Sit back and relax and see what our new coach does. He may bring half of them back that have said they are going to the portal. some of them he may want them to walk.

His first class was not great but he has to start somewhere and I will take a year of struggling in the right direction than cruising in the wrong direction.

X is returning and will be the leader of our defense, I can’t wait either. We also have a better defensive staff, especially in recruiting and development. We will be alright

jville isn't smart enough to understand that Auburn has pledged the max a University can give out for revenue sharing. It is capped.

I just gave you an example, and you still deny like a libtard. Do you believe men can have babies too?

your article said he gave back money because of poor performance. Maybe Okl. wasn't maxed? Your article also said other coaches donated to collectives.

AGAIN...............

quote:

Under the NCAA revenue sharing model, schools can elect to make payments directly to athletes up to $ 20.5 million per year.

Auburn has pledged the max..........so it doesn't matter how much any coach makes in any sport.

Everyone needs to accept every year will be a renegotiation until we all hit a breaking point. Some think it is bad for us, but just wait until schools can poach players from teams in the playoffs. We just need some diamond hands in here, yet we are being overwhelmed by posters who are on tilt.

Is the maximum amount published somewhere besides messages boards or talking heads on radio, podcasts and tv?
