DeBoer is riding high...especially after that 4th Down call.

Bama has won 39 straight games when getting a pick 6 dating back to 2007.

Ty Simpson could have been what 22 for 28 with 300+ yards if we didn't have 4 drops?

Wild.

This is also fricking wild. Why didn't Venables blitz more.

Ty Simpson

When Blitzed
1-8, 12 yards

No Pressure
17-21, 220, and 2 TDs

Because we started working around the pressures. He blitzed way more than 8 attempts

Seemed like it but that's not what ESPN graphics showed.

They were throwing blitz looks that would’ve confused NFL QBs.

I don’t think even Kirby is as complicated a defense to read as Brent Venables with multiple weeks to prepare and R Mason Thomas back healthy.

I don’t think people have processed what Bama just did given the 17 point deficit yet on a night where Mateer came out looking like early season Heisman Mateer.

That changed quickly when the pressure showed up. Dude shrunk back into himself big time

Let’s be real: that pressure package in the 3Q with Keeley/Russaw/Pierre looked as dominant as I’ve seen from a Bama team since the Will Anderson/Turner/Braswell team a couple years back.

If we can sustain that look out.

Do you have Mateers numbers when we blitzed vs not? Feels like it was similar.

Williams needs to do two things, Understand you catch a football with your hands and not let it get into his body one, and two, get his vision checked.
