I think he does well for them.

No idea. He’s a Memphis coach and all that entails

Better than the Ole Miss hire but not as good as the LSU hire

Hoping he can turn the Hawgs around

It’s growing on me…pulled himself up by his boot straps, runs a zone scheme O and can fit to players. He’s firey…I’ll give him that.
Can he evaluate talent for purchase? We’ll see, but at least we now have an experienced GM behind the scenes.
Also…
Ryan Silverfield holds a 3-0 record against Alex Golesh. Just sayin…

Lane is the best but yes Golesh could wreck shite at Auburn.
Damn it.
Rest are wait and see.

Yeah…I was on the Golesh train…I think Silverfield is what we need here at Arkansas…similar to Nutt, not so much like Morris

Crapshoot. Just like every other hire.

In his first year as a head coach, he finished 1-9 with Memorial Day, a GISA school that played against a bunch of 180 pound linemen named Hunter and Trevor In his most recent year as a head coach, he finished 6th in Conference USA.

Well he beat us this year so we have a good shot at winning the intrasquad game or whatever they call it.

He did a good job of retaining some kids in Arkansas that were going to other places, I'm hesitant about Memphis Coaches.. look at Norvell and Fuentes Memphis puts more money into their program than any of the other AAC members they tried to buy their way into the big 12 but they are now a lot like Boise State .you hope you get Chris Peterson..but your more likely to get a Dan Hawkins or Bryan Harsin

Soooohe’s improving?

Spoke with a guy today whose son plays for Memphis. There is about to be a mass exodus from Memphis to Arkansas regarding players. Certainly on the offensive side of the ball at least.

*high school. It's a high school he coached fresh out of college, 25 years ago. Before he went on to coach 7 years in the NFL
