Aim at Kirby Smart? Dan Lanning? Demeco Ryans? There always going to be some big name coaches looking for a change of scenery. Ideally y’all want a coach who knows the SEC footprint better than most. Certainly not an unproven coordinator because the job is much too demanding.

Depends. Has Kiffin won a natty at Lsu at this time in your fantasy?

If so, BAMA takes Kiffin.

You think Kiffin with an LSU natty would go to Bama?

No he didnt. Saban went to Miami. He didnt come back until we had ANOTHER natty winning HC.

You really need to research this shite before you post.

This reminds me of the who is going to replace Saban threads back in the day.

By the time it actually happens, the names will be completely different than those named today.

Not a single person ever picked DeBoer to follow Saban.

Lane would shite in the endzone of that trashy Tiger Stadium and wipe his arse with Mike the Tiger's tail on his way out the door of that shithole to coach at Alabama.

LSU is a stepping stone like it was for Saban.

I doubt we'd make a run at him, though. We didn't when Saban retired.

Kirby ain't leaving. Neither is Demeco.

Dan wouldn't be doing as well as DeBoer is if he was in the SEC. As long as Oregon is in the B1G, he'll never leave.

Cignetti is the only answer besides DeBoer.

Ideal situation for Bama is Deboer is hired away. Deboer is pretty clueless and thinks Grubb and Sheridan are chess masters of the finesse offense.

Who gaf who they hire? Bama is headed back to the 6-6 Bama we all actually like. It happened when da Bear left and its gonna happen now dinky had left. The gumps will deny it but they are halfway there already and they have another loss coming still.

Kirby is never leaving Georgia unless it's to the NFL, but I don't think he has any interest.

Dan has said over and over he has no interest in going anywhere else. That could change, but seems to think he has advantages in Oregon that would be rare to find in even other elite schools.

Demeco might if he is ultimately let go by the Texans.

Because y’all know he wouldn’t take a job that is a step down from LSU. The only way a coach ever leaves LSU for Alabama is if they were an Alabama grad and it was their dream job.

Maybe but if he got let go by the Texans, he'd easily get another job in the NFL. I guess depends on what he wants to do.
