Absolutely. Everyone loves them. Unreal they didn’t get in after that brutal schedule. Hate to see it.

I dont know why, but yes. Many of our stupider fans were semi erect as they beat us to a pulp because we were getting wrecked "by such a historic program"

Random people here wear ND hats. It is dumb

In that, like the Cowboys, they haven't won a title in the current century?

Sure.

It would be interesting to see in SEC states what the breakdown is for Catholics and who they root for... the home state school or Notre Dame.

Here in Oklahoma I'd say OU (or O-State) have a solid edge.. but I'd say about 25% of Catholics I've run into are Irish fans. The more hard core Catholic... the more likely to be a ND fan.

In a sense ya. College football is an obvious regional sport. Notre Dame is the only CFB team that has a larger fan base outside of its regional market.

If you mean they play a weak schedule and still lose, yes

I Iive in San Antonio, perhaps one of the most Catholic cities in the country, and know 1 single fan of them, and he went to school there.
It is not a thing here. frick Notre Dame. And I am Catholic.
The school can’t all that Catholic anymore if we are being honest.

Kentucky, please look in the mirror at your own program before criticizing others. What you'll see is 0-14. In Louisville, this displays as 41-0.

My wife is hard core Catholic. Went to Creighton. Her two favorite teams are Creighton and ND. I am Catholic and mine are A&M, and A&M
