This is a championship caliber defense. That's what is so infuriating. They are always being put in a bad spot. If the offense/Ty ever gets its head out of its arse, this team has a chance to win it all. I have 0 confidence they will since it hasn't happened yet, but it would be a nice surprise if they finally do it in the playoff.

They had 260 yards against a shite Georgia Tech ACC defense. Just saying.

Yeah the short fields kill us. IMO only 14 can be put on the defense if not just 7.

If you watch that game, they absolutely played vanilla as vanilla can be. Not the same team we got.

They had 3.6 Yards Per Play

It was very much an inverse of the September game. They were more efficient on drives and converted hard third downs.

Outside of the turnover on downs and punt, it could’ve been 0-7 at half and 7-14 with a few minutes to go.

Hell, we gave them the ball at the 15 yard line every possession.

Really just wish we could get our September offense back. I don’t know what’s happened and it’s disheartening to say the least.

It's pretty hard not to give up yards when the defense is on the field the entire game

Defense played a great game, really. If we had a running game or an OC that's remotely interested in having one, it would've been a closer game

There’s a reason why Grubb was fired by the Seahawks after last season. This isn’t the PAC 12 where you can get away with having a pure passing offense. He was able to get away with when he was at UW. Doesn’t work that way in the SEC.

Your defense is a national championship caliber defense. They are played lights out and have looked great. But the offense does them no favors at all. Get the o-line to play decent to good and this Bama team can make a deep run.

Special teams and the O put it all on the D. The D held up spectacularly given the situation in which they operated. A COMPETENT offense / punter/kicker is all this team needed to make a deep run. Too bad our Offensive “wizard” can’t even deliver that with piles of 5* on the roster.

dont care if they had 297 yds

they dominated our defense. Otherwise they would have got FG instead of TD

Opponents got film on Ty, figured out how to defend him, and the staff, him, or some combination of the two haven’t been able to successfully adjust.

Injuries haven’t helped either.

WR are dropping more balls at critical juncture now than earlier .. not to harp on OL and RB

I live not too far from Tuscaloosa and my sons live in the Tuscaloosa area. So I pull for Alabama most of the time. I love the tradition and think Bama is college football. How can one not love what Bama means to the grand tradition of college football?

My daughter (high schooler) wants to go to Ole Miss so by default I cheer them too. Figured I needed to at least bandwagon them a little bit since in a couple of years I'll be cutting tuition checks to them.

Mostly I just love college sports. I do lean more heavily into the Bama camp and certainly will be pulling for Bama in the playoffs.
