Haven't kept up too much...

What is the chance he transfers to Auburn for his final year to finish with Golesh?

It would be great to have him come here. He knows Golesh's system inside and out, and he's a damn good QB. I don't think a QB currently on the staff would be as good as him next year.

Arnold is gone. Leaves us Daniels and Knight. Daniels has been a good surprise. Knight is showing promise.

There’s 0% chance Daniels stay if Brown comes in, so they’ll have to bring in 2 QBs.

Golesh not bringing his NFL caliber QB with him to prevent losing our backup QB from last year who came in and lost more games than he won would be about as dumb as HF doubling down on Thorne.

Yeah he's saying ultimately he wants the elite of high school that fits what he wants from his players, develop those guys, and supplement through the portal. 250 m radius for most, and maybe national for some spots you can't find locally

Good God. He moves just like Cam Newton.

We need to flip the Jackson money to Brown and ride with him. Hopefully, Deuce will embrace one more year as the back up.

I’ve seen a lot of people gushing over Daniels, but that guy is mids. Love his effort and what he did for the team, but he is not a starting sec qb. He has zero touch and is inconsistent in his accuracy.

Theres no way anyone really believes Daniels is our best option for next year. Regardless of competition I'm betting on the guy that already knows what to do. I admire the toughness and heart he played with in the Iron Bowl. However I'd bet money we dont win more than 7 games going that route. Good thing is I think Golesh has more sense amd evaluates talent better than HF

Daniels strikes me as a kid with some future coaching chops. He is highly intelligent and an over achiever. He would benefit from learning under a highly organized coach like Golesh and then taking a GA role. He knows he’s not going to the league. I wouldn’t be surprised if he stays even if he doesn’t play a down.

I suspect if Deuce doesn’t believe he’s the starter, he’ll be portal bound. But in reality, he’d be better playing in the veer n shoot.

Regardless, we’re going to need an elite QB …. roughly $1.75 m …. even if we retain Deuce.

Priority, IMO:
QB
OL - starters and depth
TEs - multiple and essential for VnS
DL - needed depth
CB - elite CB to replace Jay
P - a legit leg
LBs - leadership and depth
RB - starting depth

Brown wont be at USF next year. We have a leg up on getting probably the top transfer QB in the nation. Hopefully we don't frick around. No matter where he goes next year he'll be contending for a Heisman

Yeah, I mean, he did transfer in knowing he was simply a depth piece.

Daniels might’ve shown enough to get some NIL money thrown at him by another team though. Just think about the QBs that will be leaving other teams.

Where is he going? He’s only a sophomore.

Deuce would fit perfectly in this system.....after a year as an understudy. He will make plenty of money learn the system and learn from Brown and do wonders for his career. Or transfer and make a mess of his future if someone throws him in as a starter.

Brown will cost some bucks, but he also knows this is his chance, perfect coach, playing in the SEC to prove he is not just a lower division highlight.

Its the perfect scenario for the QB room....and Golesh future.
