BYU lost, so if you hate Alabama…

Log off and enjoy your weekend. Alabama is in the playoffs, no matter what.
It doesn’t matter how much you complain from your mom’s basement, or all the conspiracy theories you cook up. It doesn’t matter how much you go through everyone’s schedules, strength of schedule, good wins, bad wins, wins versus rivals, head to heads, etc to try and convince yourself and others bama shouldn’t be in. Bama is in, go enjoy your weekend.

Thank you for saying that. I understand hating other teams, but that’s wrong with admitting the truth. If I hate a team but they deserve to be in, I say it.
If LSU was 10-2 right now and about to play UGA in the SEC title game, you wouldn’t expect to be in no matter the outcome? You’d be ok with shitty Notre dame jumping you? Come on now, be real.

The committee hasn’t allowed a team with a third loss in the playoff UNLESS they win their conference. Could change this year. Bama gets in with a third loss

Hate is a little to strong for me, dislike is more to my liking. With that said, if Alabama loses and falls to 10-3, they are 10th seed and should play at 7 seed Texas A&M. If they win they should be 4th seed behind IU if they lose to Ohio State or Texas Tech if IU beats Ohio State (Ohio State falls to #2 in my view in that scenario).

No, BYU is not in the College Football Playoff (CFP); they were eliminated after losing to Texas Tech in the Big 12 Championship game on December 6, 2025, failing to secure an automatic bid as a conference champion. Despite an 11-2 record, their loss to Texas Tech, who won the Big 12 title, ended their playoff hopes, making them the first team out of the 12-team field.
Losing conference championship won't keep you out of playoffs
unless youre 11-2 BYU and not 10-3 (hypothetically) Alabama?
