Should we go after BYU’s guy?

No idea who they are looking at, some guys I'd like to see them interview:

Garrett Riley
Mack Leftwich
Joel Gordon
Casey Woods

I think A&M needs a play caller who can dial up explosive plays, but also has the years of experience to handle what the defense is doing that game.

Someone who can call more successful plays in crunch time situations.

I say shoot for the moon. Call up Andy Reid and give him a sweet 3-5 yr. retirement gig with little to no personal recruiting.

Luicci has hinted that it will probably be Wiggins, but that's not certain.

It’s confirmed that Klein is coaching for the playoffs right?

Yes, but he’s going to be multi-tasking.
Not ideal.

Elko having all that money to play with, and ending up with Wiggins and Bateman as his coordinators would be pretty terrible

Strong argument for all these guys -

Not sure why Wiggins sounds like a bad idea here.

A&M Potential OC Candidates

Edit - Petrino - do not want.

Arky did have the #27 offense this year.

And let’s not act like Petrino was actually calling the plays here in 2023

Would Elko be ok with ole snake Bobby around?

That’s the million dollar question. I think Petrino torpedoed Pittman and then lost too much of the locker room to get the team to recover and lock him in as HC.

No way that talent is a 2-win team.

And he may just not be the coach that he used to be, how old is Bobby P 70?

Petrino is 64. Definitely would not be my pick from a character perspective.

Was thinking back to who the last competent OC we had was before Klein and realized it was Mazzone, who was 60 at the time.

I would’ve guessed a lot older, time has not been kind to him

I guess it definitely is the miles not the years
