Not impressed. Getting strong 2022 TCU vibes.

BYU could be on a mission. Watch out if you see a bunch of them on bicycles on the sidelines.

They will get mopped in their first playoff game. They are a high school team.

Making posts like this after the scripted opening drives always goes well

The announcers were bragging about their elite d-line acquired through the portal. They came from Stanford, Houston, UCF and GT. Definitely not bad schools but there’s probably a reason they went to those instead of upper level SEC or B1G schools in the first place.

You can tell by watching 10 minutes in first half. Impressive!

Precisely. Great season but they aren’t playing against rosters laden with NFL talent.

That fake reverse pass BYU ran is perfect for Cash Jones on 3rd down. Wonder if he can throw?

Reserve judgment until the game is over. Even the first half isn’t enough to tell you what kind of team you’re looking at.

I don’t give a flip if they go in to beat BYU by 5 scores, they don’t look physical enough to hold up against the better teams in the trenches.

I believe Texas Tech is better than you give them credit for, but even if they were the 2022 TCU team, no one is as good as that Georgia team, so they still might go far in the playoffs.

2022 TCU would run them off the field by halftime

TT and BYU are both total question marks in my mind.

They could be real contenders, they could be total pretenders.

Neither one has played a schedule worth enough of a shite to tell either way.

I look at them like I used to look at the old Boise State WAC champion teams. Maybe dangerous, maybe a cupcake who got fat on mini cupcakes.

I always look at Boise State fondly for what they did against Oklahoma.

The NFL has plenty of guys from those type of programs. Those teams usually have really good individual players... Guys who flew under the radar as recruits but develop as college players.

I'd bet that some of these guys would have ended up at other top programs but Tech outbid them.

I would take Houston off that list. Houston always has some NFL talent on the roster.

Either elite guys that got overlooked by the bigger programs, or Houston area kids who want to rep Houston in college. Strangely enough Houston city pride is real thing in that city. Ed Oliver famously turned down all the big programs to play for home town Houston as the top DL recruit in the country.

The play station dynasty people always want to believe these teams can win it all and always wind up with egg on their faces in the end. TT will be no different.

What a horrible call.
Dude is a full yard into the end zone, marked down at the 1. LOL
