Kiffin is no longer hamstrung by being with an inferior athletic department.

19, 20, 20, 22, 17, 20
LSU's class this season:
11th overall, 1st in average rating, including the nation's #1 recruit.
And Lane saved a bunch of spots for the portal.

While you’re obviously correct, you should also account for LK’s use of the transfer portal.
Every year he not only finds diamonds in the rough… but also brings in established blue chippers through the portal to plug holes.
Maybe with the LSU brand, he won’t have to leverage the portal as much
