He has signed a term sheet that is an MOU. He is most likely interviewing for the USF job. The report of the 3 year contract was premature.
Lane probably won't allow him back now because of his ego.

After everything that has come out the last few days I think Weiss is the nerd that watches film and makes the game plan. Lane just sits there and when he sees something he interjects.
