It unfortunately isn’t about the numbers it’s about y'all having our number.

This is from that TCU cat Parker. He does good work. I remember him not having a whole lot of confidence going into that 2022 national title game. I still don't think he thought it would be as bad as it was even though his analytics told him a butt kicking was coming.

I’ll keep my expectations at rock bottom and then if we pull it off, there’s only one way for them to go.

Technically Georgia is undefeated in same-season rematches against Alabama.

Georgia is the best team in the SEC right now and it’s not close. In fact, Georgia is probably the best team in the country and could, and probably should, join the NFL. Y’all are that good.

Don't see Bama winning. Georgia is much better than the first meeting and we have regressed significantly on offense and have too many injuries. Georgia is just the better team and was the better team back in September as well.

It's showing about as close as a game can get.

The difference to me is Alabama has more to play for. Georgia goes to the playoffs win or lose. It's iffy that Alabama goes if they lose.
I am not arguing whether it is fair or not that Alabama goes hinges on the game...just that I think it does.

ETA
After looking over the rankings and what might happen...I am not so sure a loss by Alabama would put them out unless it is a bad loss. I can't see them elevating Miami, BYU or Vanderbilt over Alabama. Well...BYU would be elevated if they beat Texas Tech, I guess.

Gonna be another epic battle. FG game either way.

I've already chalked this one up as a loss. We will look like the keystone cops as usual, at least for a half. Kirby will have that "load in my pants" look that he only gets against Bama.

Need to come out of it with no more injuries and get ready for the playoffs.

We're 3-1 in rematch games that I know of, so I guess we have that going for us.

2003- LSU- L
2017- Auburn- W
2021- Bama- W
2024- Texas W

All the advanced analytics in 2022 thought TCU was about to receive a biblical asskicking.

Was working with a couple UGA guys at the time and told them to get the champagne ready and that the line was way low…

I think the data is trailing a negative trend for Bama here as the offense is beat to hell right now after one of the hardest stretches I can remember, but it should still be competitive as the Bama defense has been really good down the stretch. Bama will probably need to win the turnover battle to have a chance to win this given the injuries offensively which will force them to grind drives against a defense that will make it really hard to avoid mistakes.

Think people are sleeping a bit on what Auburns offense was post Arnold/Freeze. Daniels looked really really good and while the drops killed them the receivers were finding ways to get open. Think if they go with him in that Golesh offense he could put up big numbers but I’m sure that’s a tough call with Deuce sitting there wanting assurances.
