Should Alabama lose are they in or out? If out, they should seriously consider cancelling the SECCG. It is unfair to Alabama to be forced to risk a playoff slot playing a 13th game while everyone else sits home with nothing on the line.
Why should Georgia risk a bye? Both teams have a lot at risk and are beat to hell.

The SEC could also lose a playoff spot. Theres very little to gain playing it. Now if they don't hold a possible loss against them, let's have at it, but if they do then this should definitely be the last one.

You are barely in the Playoff right now- be thankful for the chance.

Kinda like Texas was forced to play Ohio state by fox as part of allowing Texas to the sec (which is going to be one of the reasons we get screwed out of the playoffs) while 3/4 of the rest of the top 12 played nobodies and cupcakes, most at home.
Yeah wouldn’t be fair would it………..

Yeah watched the whole game early in the season.
Also watched Texas go 3-2 against the top 13 ranked schools and have a top 8 sos with their other losses to #1 and #3 both on the road.
The committee said they care about sos and head to head. I guess we will see if that’s true or not

You aren’t getting screwed out of the playoffs. You lost to Florida. You needed overtime to beat Kentucky and Mississippi State. Thats why you will be left out.
You play those games for the reward if you win. A&M is probably on the edge of not making the playoffs without that win at Notre Dame. They are getting rewarded for scheduling the game.
This idea that you should only be rewarded for scheduling those big games but also they don’t count if you lose is hilarious.

Alabama shouldn't get buttfricked by a 4 win Florida state team then bitch and moan about having to best UGA to get into the playoffs.
Yeah bruh if you lose your out- same as Texas. Next time handle business and don't get fricked up by a mediocre Florida team. Sorry, not sorry

Imagine crying about this. We have scheduled Oregon, Clemson and Ohio State of our own free will. Perhaps the SEC isn't for you.

There would certainly be an irony to the committee saying they value tough schedules and then leaving out the SEC regular season #1 seed that got that seed based on the toughest schedule.

Disagree, atm at 10-2 is still likely in. Why? Because the committee only cares about W-L.
The risk FAR outweighs the reward. It’s not an equal trade off at all.
The idea is you should schedule this big games to begin with since 98% of the rest of the country isn’t doing it and the committee is not equally weighing the schedules.
Texas has the number 8 SOS. What’s tech, byu, Indiana, atm, note dame, etc record with Texas schedule? Are they al 10-2? No, and that’s the point. We can’t control our conference schedule but we can control our OOC and the committee isn’t weighing those the same
