Might as well go for it so it doesn't clog up other threads this week.

2017

The off sides call on the punt block in the third quarter was so egregious that the head ref was still thinking about it 3 years later when he was getting ready to retire...

We had a miss. Alabama was on the ropes. They were deep in their own territory and they’re punting. The punt gets blocked. There’s a flag on the ground because the line judge had Georgia offside. Oh, boy. He (the player, Tyler Simmons) actually had a running start and timed it (properly). He wasn’t offside.

https://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/news/college-football/head-referee-from-georgia-alabama-title-game-admits-tyler-simmons-wasnt-offside/

That wasn't even the bullshittest missed call, which was the Najee Harris Canadian Football League false start. 3:56 left in the game. Georgia up 20-13. 4th and 4 at the Georgia 6. Refs don't call it. Tua throws a TD pass to a dork in the back of the end zone he probably didn't even mean to throw to.

...But refs frick up all the time. Bama won. Bama fans instructed us that there are no excuses Congratulations to Alabama, the 2017 national champions

2021

"But Jameson Williams wuz hurt"

Jameson Williams actually played more snaps in the game than Pickens, and right now Pickens is second in the NFL in receiving and Williams is too retarded to learn a route tree. It sure would've been nice to have a healthy Pickens.

...Football will always be a physical sport, and no team that averages 1 yard per carry deserves to win any football game, let alone the damn national championship game. Georgia running backs averaged 8 yards per carry and Alabama running backs averaged 3 yards per carry.

Alabama wanted no part of Georgia on either line of scrimmage in the last 7 or 8 minutes. Play another quarter and we win by another 2 touchdowns.

The end.

Can you do the other six games since Kirby has been there?

Georgia and Bama fans don't eternally argue over the other 6, numbnuts.

All you did here was post the same UGA complaints / talking points. I don't see any relitigation at all. It came across more as a recap from your point of view. So I was curious as to your take on the other six games.

If you're asking, Bama pulled another miracle out of its butt in the 2018 SECCG. Had ya'll down 28-14 late in the third quarter. But credit to Saban for putting Hurts out there for Tua when Tua wasn't working, when 10 months earlier Saban put Tua out there for Hurts when Hurts wasn't working. That's why Saban is the man.

Georgia also had a double digit lead at one point in the 2020 game and the 2021 SECCG. But again, that's why Saban was the man.

Williams was hurt as was Metchie. We saw what a healthy Bama did to them earlier.

Yup, Good teams almost get beat a lot, but rarely do. Tip of the cap to Bama.

Great opportunity to avenge the only loss of the season. But, have a strong case of Bama PTSD.

Meh, none of that matters in my opinion. No offense.

Ok, we can talk about this all day long, if you want. It won't change the fact that Alabama is UGA's father.

You might be confusing games. Hurts came in for Tua in the second half of the 2018 SECCG.

Your attempt to be bamas equal comes off very winey

It's very LSU-ish. A healthy dose of "You only beat us all the time because of the refs," combined with a whole lot of "Remember that one time we beat y'all???"

Grantham and whoever was the defensive coordinator in 2017 was the greatest coach ever. They should have kept that guy

That's what you posted.

That is not what happened in the 2018 SECCG. Tua was injured on the game-tyng drive. Hurts subbed in and finished the drive to tie the game at 28.

At no point did Saban put Hurts in because "Tua wasn't working".

Do better.
