Lane has figured out modern college football.

At LSU he will be able to get top coordinators.

He just took a D2 QB and installed him after his starter got hurt and Ole Miss got better.

We all know its true. I hate it, but its the facts.

Maybe we will get a game of the century again soon.

We’re optimistic for a reason (and not just because it’s fun to clown ole miss). BR is buzzing.

Since you threw us a bone, we all know Bama isn’t going anywhere — provided y’all are smart & remain patient with DeBoer.

Agree. And I think you'll see less of the weird calls where he goes for it on 4th down and what not. I think he felt like he had to do stuff like that b/c he was dealing with talent limitations at Ole Miss.

Hard to say what Kiffin's ceiling is, but he has a better chance of reaching it at LSU obviously, and its a pretty significant upgrade from Kelly.

At the end of the day, LSU fans had no say on what went on behind the scenes and the decisions to ultimately hire Kiffin, and they should be happy about the status of their program seemingly improving.

tbh Kelly at LSU was just weird, and I'd rather them have a coach like Kiffin. It will be a fun show to watch.

The schedule sets up for a good run in year 2.

2026 will be a foundational type year with a tougher schedule (5 SEC road games plus Bama, Texas, TAMU at home).

2027 will be year 2 in the system, only 4 SEC road games, no Bama or Texas (but do have @UGA).

While we aren't traditional rivals, #1/#2 matchups between LSU and Bama are among the most electric games I've ever watched. I'd love a few more of those

I don't know by Year 2, but definitely within the first 3-5 years.

That initial recruiting class will say a lot about what to expect in his sophmore coaching year.

He was head coach at USC and Tennessee. What makes you think this will be any different?

It's insane to think of a football season where Alabama and LSU don't meet in the regular season.

We've been meeting since 1963.

Seriously

I looked at OM’s class compared to ours and y’all, it was probably a no-brainer for him.

And people overlook his contribution at Alabama.
