Scott Gasper will be joining Silverfield. Gasper was the GM at Memphis.

Well that’s a good starting point. They’ve spent the last few years dealing with FedEx so they probably know the game better than we do.

Yea, what I was thinking.

Maybe through all the frustration of everyone, something good can come out of this hire. Hopefully the dude is a good salesman.

Hear me out:

We fire a career Oline coach, but we hire a Oline coach with a GM.

Sad that him bringing his own GM is the highlight of this hire but here we are.

And while I don’t like the hire the fact he’s bringing his own support personnel is a positive, and should be yet another reason for HY to hit the road.

I’d probably gain some respect for Silverfield if he points out how f’d up our football infrastructure is and what he’s doing to fix it since we don’t have a clue.

Already told my wife I’m going to try to pick up two more season tickets this year if everyone truly does bail.

My kid balled his eyes out after the game last night because he was sad we had no more to go to together this year. Sometimes it’s about more than the result on the field.

At the end of the day he’s our new coach. Maybe Silverfield has a silver lining….

You’re a good father creating memories with your son. Some might consider making your child watch Arkansas football as a form of child abuse, passing on that generational despair of Hog sports but you’re a good father nonetheless.

How dare you bring perspective and logic into our irrational collective melt.

You probably need to atone with three hawgelujahs to make this thing right.

Hunter copied the Pittman plane pic with him.

He then gives a copy of the Morris team intro speech.

And someone running the social media accounts thinks its a good idea to post this up.

And we wait until Thursday for the official intro because everyone in PR knows its best to delay.

Give it time…. No reason to melt until staff is assembled and team is in place…

We might as well tell him he can go ahead and coach his bowl game if he wants

That would be up to Memphis. Hunter does what Memphis tell him.
