Florida and LSU are hot and heavy on him
And he wants to leave
Everyone kissing his arse hoping and predicting he goes to Florida
No problems yet
Then all the dumbfricks experts and fans of other teams finally realize what we knew all along
He’s coming to LSU
Then all of a sudden
The same press, experts, and fans sucking his arse
All of a sudden think he is a POS and the worst person in the world

No one really thinks he’s a bad coach. He’s almost certainly the best available coach.
He’s also obviously slimy. The morally vacuous LSU fans love this. They’ll be talking about how he’s slimy as they’re firing him. Just like you all suddenly decided that CBK did in fact kill a kid.

They are about to be Lane trained.
They feel like they won the prize because Lane was the “hot” coach (for some reason, look at Ole Miss schedule for the past two years, and their real losses), but that dude, while good, is not great.
