It’s simple math boys. You’re not going to the playoff.

Texas lost to 4-8 Florida and your record is 9-3. Losing to a 4-8 team matters.

Remember when Oklahoma State lost to unranked Iowa State in 2011 in double overtime on the road and Bama jumped them in final BCS standings?

who cares brother. Mateer will intercept his way out in the first round, we'll both have won no championships, and we whipped your asses and that's what you'll think about all year until October

You’re right and he probably will, but at least it will be a home game in Norman against Notre Dame.

I like OUs chances in that one.

Unless OU was looking ahead, I wasn’t that impressed. Mateer is no bueno.

How does it feel to have beaten your rivals while no one gives a shite and thinks your team is still undeserving? Wait I already know. A&M has done that plenty.

The lesson is that all games matter, not just the games you want to peacock about.

You’re missing the point, surely on purpose. Do you want big name out of conference matchups in the future or not? Texas would be 10-2 if they swapped Ohio St for North Texas this season.

Also taken to OT by 5-7 Miss St (after a miracle Q4 comeback) and 5-7 UK.

Beat both your rivals then watch them go to the playoffs

Looking ahead to what? There’s no guarantee we’d get ND or even make the playoffs. Mateer is just that. An arse quarterback who swindled OU out of $3 million dollars.

Losing to Ohio State isn’t the issue of concern for Texas. Losing to Florida is.

Texas might also be 10-2 if they swapped Florida with another SEC team.

Brother I just watched a hapless LSU team almost beat OU in Norman. Mateer is dog shite and got most of his passing yards on quick screens and a busted coverage.

and we have a mentally challenged child at QB

Notre Dame will stomp you guys

tu is confused.

If not for the valuable in game experience forged from playing OHIO State they wouldn’t have been so fortunate in their overtime battles against Kentucky and State.

That OOC good game did matter for them and allowed the steers to come out victoriously.

Having 3 losses is the issue of concern for Texas. We can solve this issue without playing football by choosing who we schedule.

Georgia played Marshall, Austin Peay, Charlotte, and Georgia Tech you sack of shite

Bama lost to FSU, badly. Florida hammered FSU. It’s solely about the number in the loss column. Doesn’t matter who you beat or who you lost to. And the SEC went to a 9 game schedule which accomplishes nothing but ensuring more losses for its members.

We put together an elaborate CFP selection committee to do nothing but count wins and losses.

Vandy goes before Texas, all day long. This isn't even a question.

And Vandy has more wins and fewer losses than Texas.
