All of you would jump for a better job and more money.

If not, then you are low energy and zero self-esteem losers.

It's a business. Players have no loyalty now, they jump for more cash all the time now.

Wasn’t Ole Miss willing to match the money?

It's gonna be fun when you all fire Lane for 9 win seasons and are forced to pay him $75+ million. If I were LSU, I'd be more worried about fricking this up.

Thought Ole Miss was actually offering more…

Also, if he is the next GOAT coach, why didn’t LSU wait around until after the season to start courting him?

I’m in sales and would leave if the right opportunity presented itself, but I’m not responsible for a team and don’t have a guaranteed contract that I signed

But I do have a Non Solicit that would not allow me to take accounts or hire away others…..

Why would you wait on the GOAT?

Maybe, but Ole Miss isn’t a better job.

I don't understand why Ole Miss isn't letting him coach out the season. They've got no chance in the CFP with an interim. And he's going to poach players and staff regardless.

We did.

Alabama fired Mike Shula in November and didn't start talking to Saban until January.

Less pressure, same money. Depends on what you want I guess.

Didn't Rich Rod take the job in December until Finebaum supposedly made fun of his wife?
God I miss that era of CFB so much.

If I was Oklahoma I’d be more worried about my team being in a cripple fight with the worst offense lsu has ever seen.

He agreed to the job in principal but backed off after West Virginia offered him a little more money. Also...Mal Moore was forced by the boosters to offer Rich Rodriguez (a coach he never wanted) because they saw no progress on the coaching front. Moore's intention was "Saban or bust" but the boosters couldn't see the forest through the trees at the time.

What he is doing to us is trashy. There is the right way and the wrong way to do business just like I wouldn’t fire one of my people on Christmas morning.

The guy is leaving them to coach one of their biggest rivals.

It would be pure cuckoldry to sit by and watch him continue to run the football program and prance around your facilities knowing that he is actively working to benefit LSU.

You’d have to be a complete retard to not understand that

The system is fricked up.

I think the NCAA should have rules in place that no coaching hires or interviews are allowed until after the national championship is over.

All the schools and coaches are operating within the fricked up system this is at the moment.
