The news is dominated by coaching changes talk. Kiffin to LSU. Sumrall to Florida. Golesh to Arkansas.

We’ve either been tight lipped about our search or completely incompetent.

Why isn’t it Kiffin picking between LSU and Auburn?

Why is Florida the favorite for Sumrall?

Why is Penn St getting rumors about swiping DeBoer?

We’ve had nothing except some message board fodder about Sumrall.

Have we just given up? You can see the fan support. Is NIL not there? I thought we had one of the larger collectives out there? Is the money not there for a staff?

What the frick is happening?

Cause they are buddies with Durkin and are going to cut him a check cause they are friends.

Auburn isn't about winning, it's about a buddy system for the boosters, coaches and administration to profit off of.

Well hopefully this puts Durkin out of consideration. A 1-2 record and a loss tonight that was basically like every other loss this season

Because the July & August golf tour where the boosters and admin hype themselves up about the season and tailgating is all that matters

Maybe they are already done with the coaching search, and aren't playing high school drama games

Now let’s review the comical calls that went against AU this season to top it. There are MANY games to choose from.
Between the coaches, players and SEC.. the football program has no chance to compete.
Here’s to not having to lose another mid December advertising bowl game at noon against a another “up and coming corch”

You’re missing the point. It’s not about me wanting those coaches. It’s that the bigger names in the coaching market are being discussed for other programs.

We have zilch. No news. No inklings. No media discussions.

We’re in the background. A 2nd rate program? Why?

Where are our power people?

That’s not really an explanation. Kiffin has had moderate success. It’s Ole Miss’ first playoff ever in a field of 12 mind you. Yet they’ve never been to an SECCG. Sumrall seems more like a Napier type.

Because we probably already hired our coach.

There’s literally one big name this season—Kiffin. And there are too many programs chasing after too few goods. And I've said it many times Cohen should have never been hired. Maybe if we had a competent AD we wouldn’t be in this mess.

You just answered the question why Kiffin didnt come to Auburn and why he didnt consider us this time

Same for any good coach. They dont want to deal with Auburns BS

Kiffin’s success is obvious. Sumrall has been a HC for 4 years and been successful every year. Notably this year competing for the conference crown and playoff spot despite losing 80% of his starters is a pretty good barometer of coaching and roster building acumen in today’s landscape
