Seems the top potential job opening is indeed not opening up and the coaches are signing their extensions. Seems he’s staying boys.

Good luck in the Egg Bowl!

Would be a shame to choke away a playoff bid due to all these distractions!

If he does stay at Ole Miss, who does LSU pursue?

I hope Dillingham. He would have been my first option but it appears the Admin likes Kiffin more. We’ll see should be a fun 72 hours!

I think it’s likely the extension was signed last Friday.

If so, why not tell the players, so they will rally behind their team and focus on the playoffs? Kiffin leaving is a huge distraction.

Don't say the players already know, because it would have been leaked all over their social media by now.

Word on the street is that Kirby about to be paid $20 million a year. Take that for what it’s worth

Good to hear. I wanted him but not at the ridiculous price tag they were offering. Lanes a good coach but he’s not worth 14 million a year. I would rather spread that money in different directions. However , I’m not the LSU decision maker so I’m sure that we will over pay someone else instead hahaha

A good ad already has a backup plan in case kiffins back up plans back up plan says no. But as a guy who hasn’t thought about it off the top of my head I’d go Rhett lashley. Scheme guy has contacts in the recruiting hotbed know as Dallas(probably most Texas hotbeds).

Nothing would make me happier than watching LSU settle for crumbs while rifling through the couch to pay him with loose change.

He could be waiting to see what the Iron Bowl delivers. If DeBoer loses to Auburn it might just be the end for him in T-Town.

Verge Ausberry said he is one of the decision makers. And he has completely reasonable expectations…
