Slow claps OU win. Proceeds to cry about the lack of defense in other games. It is getting a bit sad.

The funny thing is almost 70 percent of them think if they beat A@M they are jumping to number 4….. good shite . I gotta say there is a real chance Bama isn’t even in the playoffs again if BYU beats Tech. For whatever reason they love themselves some Texas tech …. Still think Bama should be in but I don’t trust this committee .

FunnyMaine committed career suicide back in 2020 when he went full BLM; he supported defunding the police and at a public speech he encouraged people in Birmingham to riot and destroy stuff. When people did riot and destroy stuff later that evening he was shocked.

Did not know that. My apologies for making a thread with him. We have plenty of the same stupidity running across our campus. Especially after Charlie Kirk was assassinated.

I hate to link AL.com. They rarely are honest. But since one of their producers got mugged and a filmographer got beaten down by the crowd after FunnyMaine’s speech they actually posted an honest article.
FunnyMaine’s speech to the assembled crowd.

FunnyMaine’s speech to the assembled crowd.
quote:
“We can’t tear down 16th Street Baptist Church. We can’t tear down the civil rights museum. We can’t tear down Carver. We can’t tear down A.G. Gaston Plaza. But what I’m not telling you to do is walk to Linn Park. I’m not telling to walk to Linn Park after this rally. I’m not telling you to tear something down in Linn Park. I’m not telling you that I’m going to be over there after this rally,” he said.
"That’s what I’m not telling you to do because the law says I can’t tell you to do that. I cannot tell the police to look away. We don’t see you,’’ he said. “I cannot tell the police to march us over there. I can’t tell you that, so I’m not telling you to meet me at Linn Park at 7:30 p.m. Central tonight. I’m not telling you that.”
“But while the whole world is on national TV tearing stuff down, we need to tear something tonight. They need to see Birmingham, the home of the Civil Rights Movement tear some shite down tonight.”

He went full retard. He could have gone "reasonable". Just say, hey I get it but let's not get in trouble over it, let's not be the ones who makes things way worse than they actually are.
He would have increased his audience AND be responsible to his own kind. Oh well. Go woke, go full retard and broke.

Most pundits think we do. In your scenario we'd not only have wins over two playoff teams, we'd be the only team that BEAT both of those playoff teams.
That said, I'm not expecting anything other than if we win both games, we're obviously in; if we lose to Auburn we're obviously out, and if we beat Auburn and lose the SECCG then we get to see how the committee handles that.

I'm across the street from Linn Park right now. The first floor of this building was TORN-THE-F-UP. If it was less than 300k in damages, I would be amazed.
And I remember seeing it live on Tucker Carlson Tonight - the irony of seeing your locale on a National news program and thinking - 'those who incited this will NEVER be brought to justice'. And none ever were.
There was no more watching FunnyMaine in my house.
ETA - Sooners are in Bama's head - no doubt. I don't think it will last, however.

Since 2020, the last time I remember seeing FunnyMaine was when he, for whatever reason, was interviewed during the Carlee Russell hoax. As can be imagined he pushed the narrative that it was just one more example of a modern day lynching or something similar. Of course it turned out to be a hoax.

I’m confused the point of this thread, there’s still time to delete it.
