We are currently +3.5. Hopefully we can contain / box out Ike and Huff and pull off our 3rd victory as an underdog this year.

1 game sample size but I’m a huge fan of Bristow already.

I think we win if our forwards keep the energy level

Would be huge to get a win tonight, especially since it’s the first of 3 in a row.
This tournament and the SEC Tourney are the only 2 times all year where our style of play can be a bit of a disadvantage as we will play fast in all 3 games. We’ve already seen some tired shooting legs in the 2nd half of a couple of these big games, so not sure how our shooting holds up in 3 games over 3 days. Oats will have to keep people fresh (which he referenced in his press conference) and let’s go ahead and win this first one before fatigue even becomes an issue.

I see the line is now +5. Evidently bettors are on the Zag side

The sad part about that Birmingham game was we executed our defensive plan correctly. We forced them to take Mid Range shots…unfortunately for us they made like 80% of them. Brandon Miller went off tho

Would be wild to have an IBOB the same week as the Iron Bowl. It's a long shot, but you never know.

More than that I would love for them to go 0-3 in Las Vegas and Pearl gets arrested at the Bunny Ranch

He also looked very good during the exhibitions. I just don't get excited until it happens in a real game. And he did that against a legit talented team. He's definitely the MoDi replacement, except a little more if a natural big than a wing that can play some 4.

The Illinois coach had high praise for Bristow after the game. He said “that guy was the difference”.

So outside of Bama the SEC is 1-14 against the top 60?
That’s not gonna help us come selection time because the SEC schedule will be viewed in a negative way.
Makes the noncon schedule that much more important.
