Anyone know if he’s still a projected first rounder?

He’s taken a step back but still a good QB. Just don’t know if he’s a guaranteed first rounder as people were saying earlier, and I wonder how that affects his decision.

It'll depend on how he finishes the season. He's put enough high quality play on tape this season that if he plays well again they'll ignore his recent slump.

I think it would benefit the team if he stayed. Hard to replace that experience.

I would assume both Keelon and Mack would transfer, but if Ty and Keelon stayed…

I think he goes pro. I think that’s been his and his family’s plan all along. He probably goes higher than you think. It’s a very weak QB draft. I think he gets eaten alive at the next level though.

Yeah I mean he’s still being mocked 1st round. Ty, Mendoza, and then maybe Maiva and Moore are the only players looking like 1st rounders and there are many teams needing a QB

Mocks are not to be believed at this point in the season. At this point last year Miroe and Sanders were still being mocked as 1st rounders. A few years ago Malik Willis was being mocked as first rounders.

No one really knows at this point if teams are still high on him. He doesn’t have super impressive physical traits so he’s not going to blow up at the combine

If he keeps playing like he has ( 2 TDs and 5 turnovers since the off week) then I’m not sure if he leaves for the NFL. He has looked like arse lately. If he comes back we are screwed.

Anyone thinking he won't go pro after a couple of rough games (one where he still threw for 325+) either doesn't watch the NFL at all, or doesn't realize how starved most of those teams are for quality QB play.

Ty's potential is there. Someone will draft him off that alone, and likely still in the first round. It helps that it's an incredibly thin draft class for the QB position this year.

I understand that, but SOME QBs will go 1st rd. And there just aren’t that many who are more skilled or talented than Ty

I think fans believe that if he stays, KR leaves.

A better frame would be, does Simpson go pro as a 2nd round pick?

Is he the type to come back to try and prove something?

Let's see how it plays out.

I don’t think Keelon is on the bench next year. If Ty does happen to return, I think he’s gone.

No way you keep ty over keelon. If we have QB struggles lets at least struggle with a guy that has a huge upside more years available

I think if Ty returns, which like milroe last year probably isn't happening.

He has to understand he is not guaranteed the starting job.

So it's better for everyone even if he is fifth round it's time to move on

Does he have a nagging injury that he is playing through or just hit a mental wall? If he does play well in the first two series against the Barn I would pull him.

The even BETTER frame is that this is the worst QB draft in quite a long time. If he doesn’t go out this year then he’ll have a lot of competition in the future that will keep him out of a lot of money.
