He gives me very little confidence going into the Iron Bowl and beyond.

Teams have adjusted. Ty is slow to process now and can't throw deep. Without a running game it's a problem.
Since he won't throw the ball away, we keep turning it over

Some of us have said this and called it out weeks ago.
What has happened recently is for whatever reason Ty is now inaccurate with intermediate wide open passes when he was like a wizard throwing those before South Carolina

I hate to say it because I still believe Ty is a good quarterback. But these 2 sitting behind him have a much higher ceiling.

some of the bad plays are due to him holding the ball too long. He doesn't throw it away.

there is a REASON he rode the bench for YEARS......

Milroe is unsaveable. Ty can still wake up.

You can’t be serious. Milroe was a cancer on the team.

he was better than this guy... by a lot....

With everything on the line next week, will KDB actually pull Ty if he struggles? Or will he stick with him like he did last year with Milroe against OU?
Posted on 11/22/25 at 3:29 pm to Sl0thstronautEsq
you already know the answer to that.....

You can't put a QB in that spot

True. Like many have been saying, the guy is a freakin headcase.
How he plays depends mostly on his emotional state of mind.
I think he's the best QB we have right now when he's playing well, but he's in a slump.
I always think back to hearing how Bear Bryant used to just play the second team when the first team was struggling.
Why is that considered so insane these days?

Because when Bryant did it we had unlimited scholarships and could hoard players that would’ve started elsewhere.

I think we have a lot of 2nd teamers that would start elsewhere in the P5.
I don't think it's that insane of an idea. Look at today. Our second team outplayed our first team.

Saban did and we won a natty.

I agree and Mack looked comfy and it seems his instincts kicked in to run the ball with what the D showed. Mack looked ahead of QB3 and I am not so sure he is much behind QB1. There should have been a third pic on Ty yesterday but the defender had a cast on one hand

We have to beat Auburn, period. So coach better do whatever it takes.
