Gonna have to update my list. I was giving Auburn respect for 2 legit ones and 0 bogus claims. But it looks like they now have 33% legit and 66% bogus claims.

This is the second most embarrassing thing I’ve ever seen an SEC program do after the ole miss 03 co SEC West champs banner. The Texas A&M Jimbo natty trophy case is up there but I think this beats that.

I don’t know how they can claim 1958.
They finished 9-0-1 and #4 in the polls. LSU was 11-0, SEC champions, and consensus national champions. Wikipedia has only one publication giving Auburn their national championship for 1958, and it’s entitled “Montgomery Full Season.”
