So is there any scenario where Bama wins the Iron Bowl and doesn't make the SECCG?

Yes

Kentucky beats Vandy, Florida beats Tennessee, Tennessee beats Vandy - A&M vs Georgia

Kentucky beats Vandy, Arkansas beats Missouri, Tennessee beats Vandy - A&M vs Georgia

Any scenario in which Georgia, Alabama and Ole Miss all finish 7-1 and Georgia finishes with the highest opponent win %. That would require a team we played (Vandy) to lose to a team they played (Kentucky) and then a team we played to lose to a team they played or nobody played (Tennessee/Vandy; Missouri/Arkansas).

It isn't super likely, but I could definitely see Tennessee losing at Florida then turning around and beating Vanderbilt. Not sure I see Kentucky winning at Vanderbilt but not impossible.

And if A&M were to lose to Texas?

If that happens it's a lock to be us and Georgia, I believe (even if the other scenarios above happen).

That’s correct. AM conference schedule was weak therefore that only loss puts Bama v UGA into play.

I agree on all other counts. Unlikely but possible for other scenarios to unfold.

A&M is a 10 point dog(which I thought was gonna be closer to opposite). It seems as if Bama gets a rematch if they win Iron Bowl

How is A&M A dog against Texas doesn’t make sense to me.

Not much of a scenario at all, but I guess it's possible. That's a whole lot of things UGA would need to go their way. Crazier things have happened in college sports though. Sometimes in our favor.

We need Vandy to beat Kentucky this weekend. If that happens then the rest of it doesn't matter.

Half the pickers have Texas over 55% of winning? I’m taking AM and the points. Right this second. Lol

You sure you're not looking at a preseason spread?

Would it be better for us not to go? I mean…if we go and get beat a 3rd loss would have to put out of the playoffs.

Don’t start with last years committee rules about championship games.

If there is any way the committee can fist us, they will. They’re still angry and resentful that Bama beat their asses for years.

No, it would set off a bad chain reaction of either teams just refusing to play any decent OOC games or the SEC breaking away from the other conferences
