Bama has the same record and beat four teams that the committee itself says are top 20 teams. Make it make sense, please

They said Miami and ND are not in the same tier so head to head wasn’t a consideration - total bs

Just beat A&M and you’re good.

ND ahead of Miami makes even less sense

Miami beat ND head to head and also beat FSU, and we know why that SHOULD be relevant in this discussion

Committee rankings are a joke, from top to bottom

Think they had to gap OU and Bama … in case Bama wins the sec … don’t think they want you to jump us now . I figured beating UGA would mean something ….. best win of the year outside OUs Bama win.

Strength of schedule is not being weighed like it should. Losses are a bigger factor than actual good wins.

If AI is replacing jobs, start with the cfp committee.

They’re gonna do whatever they want and make up excuses afterwards it’s not worth worrying about other than to make fun of them along the way.

If Bama somehow wins the SEC Championship, they're definitely jumping OU.

So ND has figured this whole thing out. Schedule your hardest two games week one and two. It doesn’t matter if you win or lose as long as it’s close. Then get your ten wins against the Navy, BC and Pitt’s of the world. Sit back and relax while top teams beat each other up on conference championship weekend. Hats off to them.

SoS ranks:

#4 South Carolina 2.35
#5 Florida 2.35
#6 Texas 2.28
#8 Alabama 2.16
#9 Auburn 2.12
#12 Arkansas 1.99
#13 Miss St 1.96
#14 LSU 1.88
#16 Kentucky 1.78
#17 Oklahoma 1.76
#18 Tennessee 1.73
#20 Missouri 1.70
#21 Georgia 1.67
#24 Ole Miss 1.46
#28 Texas A&M 1.40
#32 Vanderbilt 1.32

Other top 10:

#25 BYU 1.45
#26 Indiana 1.40
#30 Notre Dame 1.39
#34 Oregon 1.31
#39 Texas Tech 1.19
#44 Utah 1.12
#49 Miami 1.03
#59 Ohio St 0.82

Notre Dame SoS would rank 16th toughest in the SEC. They have the same SoS as A&M basically, but A&M doesn't have 2 losses.

Aggies knock Bama out of the playoffs with a SECCG win lol. Let’s just destroy LSU, Texas and Bama’s entire programs real quick

If we still used the BCS, this is what the rankings would be. Its not an egregious ranking

Committee doesn’t use those SoS ranks. They made up their own. You can’t look at them. They won’t tell you how they calculate them. They just bust them out when they need to prop up B10 or ND

Burn it down. Fire Sankey and get some transparency or we threaten to leave

yes.
But with OU firmly ahead of ND now, OU is a lock to make it in.
Bama winning the SEC and Tech NOT winning the big 12 will leave ND out of the playoffs.
