playoff run. That's something that would've never happened with the BCS or four teamer if your team was playing for the title after the regular season.

It's kind of crazy.

Would Kiffin dare to leave Ole Miss before the Egg Bowl or soon after?

Would Ole Miss players Kiffin wants be so upset with Kiffin they would refuse to follow him to his new school?

Business is business and there is no loyalty anywhere anymore. They get the paycheck I have a feeling most of the players don’t care.

It’s a new day….all money, basically no loyalty. Get used to it.

If programs can fire the shite out of coaches at midseason to get a head start on the hiring process, I don’t see why coaches can’t jump ship early for a better job.

The problem is the ncaa's stupid change in the timing of signing day and the closure of the transfer portal.

Late coaching changes are a program killer.

We care a hell of a lot more than most of the players. They are too busy showing off the bling they bought with that nil money on social media.
I don’t care as much as I used to, but I still watch.

You care more because no one is offering you big bucks.

No one cares more about a fricking school than they do their own self interests.

I was born in Tuscaloosa. I am a second generation UA alumnus. I was a walk-on for four years. But if Auburn offered me a million dollars a year to do nothing but study Bama football year round and advise the AU staff on anything I can pick up to help win the Iron Bowl, well, “War Eagle, baby.”

The issue is the early signing period and no spring transfer portal more than the playoff expansion

It is messed up, but it is Lane Kiffin. Dude left in the middle of the night once. He’s stone cold and cares about nobody but himself and his family (now)

I dont remember the exact timing but I kind of remember rich rod in talks to jump ship for michigan while west virginia was in prime position to make the bcs championship game in 07.

I don't recall it that way. I'm thinking they lost earlier but was set up to meet Missouri in the Championship game. Both Missouri and West Virginia lost making way for LSU to back back into it.

I always thought rich rod looking towards the michigan job led to them choking against pitt in the final regular season game and missing the bcs championship game. He was for sure gone before west virginia's bowl game that year.

In life, do you make decisions that are best for your family or for someone else’s family?

LK will never have the window of opportunity he has now. Multiple rich fan bases drooling over him.

Good for Lane. Just hope he stays away from LSU. That’s a Texas without Texas money.

Could be. Been a while. I do remember State beating the brakes off of Michigan in 2010(11) Gator Bowl. Michigan had that QB that never tied his shoes. Might have been RR's last game at Michigan.

At least he includes his family now. Kudos to him for that at least
