This won't last long. Fun fact: our success rate in Norman is that of a snowball remaining fully formed and intact on the surface of the sun.

Boomer is good. I don't like them, but I will never say they suck.

Depending how old you are we have seen many Oklahoma teams that are good. This team ain’t one of them. This isn’t even in the top 15 in talent of the Oklahoma teams of the past 25 years. Mizzou has a chance, but not that great with an inexperienced QB and Drink with one foot out the door. But there’s a chance. We know that Norman isn’t all that special of a home environment either, just meh

The problem is the OU defense is salty. Zou has a true fish QB who needs a lot of work. OU can stop the run as good as anyone. I expect a defensive struggle, low-scoring game.

I remember vividly going into Norman one year and getting waxed 77-0. With a freshman QB, a backup kicker, and to your point, questions of Drink's future, it is a daunting challenge.

OU's home crowd is going to be jacked up after OU's 'road warrior' team comes home. Although it is an 11 AM game... I expect the crowd to be one of the better ones.

OU's crowds can be pretty tame because OU really doesn't hate anybody besides Texas..... and we don't ever play them in Norman.

Your team... ATM... doesn't stir anything up for OU fans... everybody likes your dog and and likes to watch your band. That was usually the talk when the Aggies came to town.

And quite frankly. with no real history with SEC teams besides Mizzou and ATM... the energy is always pretty positive so far when SEC teams come here. But not the hostile energy that really jacks up a fan base. It will be interesting when LSU comes in. We have had a negative experience with their New Orleans based fans. But that was a long time ago now... so I don't expect it to be crazy.

Never forget. Aggie 9/11. The lowest point in our history

Since then we removed the leaders in charge (Fran)

We built our army (facilities)

Invaded the foreign country (Oklahoma)

Taken out the terrorists (recruits leaving Texas to play at Oklahoma)

And dumped Bin Laden in the ocean (Stoops)

Now we have secured the border and are safe. You can have fun piecing together teams without texas players and paying top dollar for Cali mercenaries and portal diamonds in the rough

We have been in the SEC for more than a decade now, and I still feel largely the same way. Well, except for the douches from Baton Rouge, but even most of THEIR traveling fans are OK. (Don't get me started on their home fans. Their behavior at a game in Baton Rouge is enough to sour you on the entire state.)

Mizzou vs OU should be a good one. I think it’ll eerily be similar to our game against Auburn. Defensive battle.

5 ranked wins hell yeah! Mizery is going to try and run the ball and get no where . Mizery still hasn’t beaten a ranked team all season correct ?

Agree with you...I will be there. Not going in with unrealistic expectations, but fully believe we will compete. If I didn't, I probably wouldn't travel the 6 hours to get there.

You guys beat Bama by 2 points...we lost to Bama by 3 points. To me that definitely spells out a potential good game.

Before your qb got hurt, before your second string qb got hurt before Drink was rumored to be leaving …. And all of that was on your home field.

Your defense is ine of the best in the SEC and OU sucks on offense. You can definitely win this game.

Actually after, with the exception we weren't playing our true freshman 3rd string QB. He is actually turning out to be quite a stud at his young age. Whether Drink leaves or not most of us don't care...won't impact this weekend's game. What else you got?

I'm sensing a little nervousness from my OU friends....

ahh yes the Norman conquest.

from chatGPT
The term "Norman conquest" in this context refers to two distinct events:
a famous 1986 Oklahoma football game where Oklahoma defeated the Missouri Tigers 77-0,

I’d love to see the defensive reaction when they show film of that true freshman at Mizzou. I bet they laugh for a minute straight.
