He's supposed to be a film study master so he should be ready for an opponent. With the OL and RB non blocking issues opposing defenses are just going to load up and rush him. Is he rattled or overwhelmed now ? It is his first year of being in charge, is it too big for him to handle ? I like him and hope he figures it soon.

He was overwhelmed vs FSU.

His accuracy is off due to an injury that I won’t disclose. He’s been taking daily treatments since October.

Despite the injury, he ran the ball effectively at least 3 times. He’s a football player.

Special teams and complete lack of ball security was the difference in this game, not #15. That’s on the coaches.

Simpson threw a Pick Six, so get where our shite stupid fanbase will blame him for the loss.

Bama's offense is a major liability for this team. It has zero identity and this late in the season it will not develop one. Grubbs seems schizophrenic to boot.

Ty had a bad game. If he is hurt he should not be playing. This offense is mediocre. Good defenses have them figured out.

I hate to hear he's hurt that could explain things.

The pick six was rushed but even then I can’t really kill him too much with the PI on it. At worst it should’ve been a drop by Horton and it was the right read

IIRC Codename stated he had a back injury a month ago

I mean… he was responsible for 2 of the 3 turnovers.

And the underthrow to a wide open receiver in the last drive should have put us on their side of the 50 with over a minute left.

Ty is still the guy but acting like he wasn’t at least mostly responsible for this loss is just stupid.

21 points man.

Ain’t enough to win most of the time in this conference, especially when you hand the other team free points.

He isn’t mostly though. Ten points are off him. Ten are off punt returns both ways. Three are off Talty

It was both an offensive and special teams issue. If we just had one of the five plays go differently we’re in the clear

That makes sense, he's never been as effective since the brutal hit he took in the Missouri game. Seems like someone in his family stated he was in the training room for hours each day the week after that game.

The difference is Codename said what the injury was where this poster did not and why bother posting if you can not say.

Ty is trying to do too much. And with good reason. We are mediocre at best on the LOS. Jam miller is a liability, and I was questioning our coaches decision to start him over hill. Then hill blows a pass block and bounces outside on an easy run for 10 yards if he just cuts it up behind the centers block. Crucial blunders late in the game. My 6th graders don’t do that. We are a stupid team.

The evidence is there. The coaches know it. That’s why we have so many wrinkles to just gain yardage. We can’t even make a 3rd and short without some tricky formation with Proctor. The QB walk away “talking to coaches” is a rec league favorite.

If he is hurt then he needs to sit this weekend, list him as out. Let him get better for the rest of the year.

If the coaches let him play then I have zero respect for them and they will do what the players want.

We will see., thanks for the injury info because that makes sense with his accuracy.

People will downvote me because they’re convinced we have the best roster in the league and it’s not being properly used, but I don’t care, it all starts with the fact that our offensive line is s**t. It was headed that way while Saban was still coaching IMO. People are down on the rotation system, saying that’s no way to “develop continuity.” Can they at least consider the possibility that they’re throwing s**t against the wall trying to find something that will work both in rotating the OL and at least in some of Grubb’s play calling? Because we actually don’t have the best roster in the league?

This! If we need Ty to beat Eastern Illinois, we’ve big issues. Sit him, rest him and get him ready for the game where all the chips will be on the table and our opponents would like nothing better than to ruin our season.

Ty is trying to force things which usually will lead to good plays for the other team.

I think he has zero trust in the o line and assumes he’s going to get absolutely blasted by some 300 lb dude on literally every single pass play. IMO, he’s spooked.

Add to it that I’m sure he’s painfully aware that there is zero run game and feels he has to carry the team.

Ty has happy feet and has started throwing off his back foot. The reason for this is because he doesn’t trust his protection whether it be the offensive lineman breakdowns in assignments, offensive lineman getting manhandled one on one or a rb whiffing on a blitz! Also, if he has an injury that’s messing with his throwing arm, he needs to sit out the next game and try to get it healthy. I would let Russell (because I think he has the highest ceiling) take most of the snaps. With as many times as Ty gets pressured, you never know when he might get knocked out of the game. Also, Russell can beat the blitz with his legs, Ty can’t!

We need a clean 2 quarters with no injuries where we improve some of our base offense execution with the 1s. Unless we're starting Russell the rest of the season, he should be playing in the 2nd half.
