Bama will end up playing an Aggie team that will beat us for sure in the SEC game. We’ll end up with three losses, missing the playoffs after making the SEC title game, while Georgia, Ole Miss, and Boomer sits at home with two.
I think we need to bring the East VS West back.

They didn't punish SMU last year for losing in their conference title game, why in the world would they punish Bama?

Do you mark how the wisteria, sun-impacted on this wall here, distills and penetrates this room as though (light-unimpeded) by secret and attritive progress from mote to mote of obscurity's myriad components? That is the substance of remembering—sense, sight, smell: the muscles with which we see and hear and feel—not mind, not thought: there is no such thing as memory: the brain recalls just what the muscles grope for: no more, no less: and its resultant sum is usually incorrect and false and worthy only of the name of dream.—See how the sleeping outflung hand, touching the bedside candle, remembers pain, springs back and free while mind and brain sleep on and only make of this adjacent heat some trashy myth or reality's escape: or that same sleeping hand, in sensuous marriage with some dulcet surface, is transformed by that same sleeping brain and mind into that same figment-stuff warped out of all experience. Ay, grief goes, fades; we know that—but ask the tear ducts if they have forgotten how to weep

It helps if you don't lose to a crap team to start the season. How many teams have opened their season with a win over Bama and had their coach on the hot seat a month later?

No. I’m implying we’ll finish as the top 2 teams in the conference and not make it .. while three teams below us do

Bama will get in with 10-2 regular season.
Yall are good but not great like so many teams this year.
Give it time.

Greg Sankey himself has said there are agreements in place to prevent this from happening. A conference title loss will not keep you out.

Sucks doesn’t it? I remember that feeling after Auburn beat the piss out of uat in 2017 just to watch them back door into the playoffs.

Bama sucks; DeBoer sucks. Buckle up, gump.

You know, I remember a time when a team did not play in the SECCG and they ended up in the national championship.

Really wouldn't be so sure you don't have 3 losses in the regular season.
Posted on 11/15/25 at 8:32 pm to RTRnFlorida
It's going to be three losses with AU

Well then just beat A&M when you play us.
You know we haven’t really played anyone. It’s a sure thing.
