If this staff can't beat an Auburn team in JHS without a head coach, I think it is getting to the point of where I was at the end of 2005:

I was pretty sure we were never going to compete for championships with our coaching staff but it wasn't firing time by any means.

I'm not saying it is there yet but we're starting to see trends established that are deeply concerning: propensity to no show on the road, losing games where the opposing team almost does nothing but wait for us to meltdown then obliging them, inability to get a tough yard on the ground, too much reliance on finesse to make big plays happen.

Going down to a bad Auburn team would almost certainly involve these calling cards of shite that have become too common in the almost two seasons of this regime.

They've got to figure out how to make that not happen in two weeks. I think the trajectory of this regime in Tuscaloosa depends on it.

I can go ahead and tell you that I think we wouldn't even be able to until 2027 more than likely. Maybe 2028.

I'm not saying he's on the firing watch but that I'm starting to get that gut feeling that if he can't right this ship and secure a playoff spot this year then it will be due to circumstances that will really negatively affect the fanbase demeanor and make the situation sorta toxic from an outsider's perspective. Bad for recruiting, hiring coaches, etc.

I said I’d give DeBoer at least 3 years with 3 different starting QBs before making a final judgement. But it’s not trending in the right direction. This will be 2 straight years of severe regression on the offense.

If we lose to AU, I’ll still wait for the 3rd year with a different starting QBs to start the season but it will feel that the writing may be on the wall.

I think most people expected 2 regular season losses (at least) with our schedule.

If we lose to Auburn and miss the post season again, then yep, it'll be November melt 2.

No way I want to be looking for a coach this season, but yes they have to dominate Auburn. I'm tired of what I'm seeing from this offense.

I agree but we are a 2 games losing team for the forseable future. At least.

Our offense is scoring 20 points. They do every game. So mark it down. Do we win? Can’t say I feel confident

We surely can offer Saban more than LSU, right!?

The only players on this offense responsible for wins other than Simpson are Deboer’s players from Washington.

Bro it was a joke referring to the fact that he's apparently the favorite for every job opening. Relax. But to be fair he'll have one this year.
