Just me or does it feel like there’s a lack of energy for the OU game?

Seems like there’s was more for LSU and people are focused on a matchup with aTm.

No. But I do think more people are nervous about this game due to the perceived match-ups of this game not being in Alabama’s favor. And then if we do lose, we still have to beat Auburn in Voodooville to secure our playoff spot.

Sir, our weekly By The Numbers thread has triple the posts from last week's LSU game.

In short, we're fricking amped for this game.

They beat us last year. No one is sleeping on OU.

Because unless we can run the ball or decide to start passing every down, it’s going to be a long game.

Pretty safe bet that every team from here on out is going to load eight guys in the box and double dog dare Bama to pass.

Until Bama starts throwing the ball on first down and making them pay dearly for doing that, teams are going to continue making it nearly impossible to run the ball.

Well more so go deep. Because teams can stop Bama’s run game without stacking the box

They’re stacking the box to either all out blitzing or they’re dropping guys quickly into the underneath zones to take away the short throws.

Bama’s offense is basically living off the intermediate passing game right now with some completed short throws mixed in

Yeah... at the same time, for Oklahoma, it is do or die for the playoffs. That's a hell of a motivator for Vegetables to use.

Y’all sound scared of OU! If we play our game, we’re 10+ points better than them. Same with Auburn!!
When we don’t play our game, we’re in a dog fight until the end still.

if not called that’s when a qb should audible to a slant first or wr bubble screen!

Great to read. Maybe I was checking in at the wrong times.

Bad news is this this team seems to play down to competition. Good news is we keep winning and they handle business in big games.

Also, hot take: I'll take Down-Hill over Jam at RB.

To be fair, we were better than OU last year and still lost.

Ask the team if there’s a lack of energy, the answer will likely be a resounding “no”

What colors to do my toes since both teams have the same colors?

Do we have an injury report? Update on Russaw?

Even if he can play this doesn’t need to be his return, Pierre is the guy. Que can maybe do a breather down every so often. Or they can come in together.

i'm thinking the reason teams load the box against bama has little to do with the run game. they already know it takes little effort from them to stop the run game. i think it has way more to do with pressuring ty and giving him as little time as possible. they know ty can carve them up, jam hill, not so much.

How funny would it be if we started running well? The entire rant would meltdown to nothing.

boz, i wish that would happen. if the run game could take some of the pressure off ty, this team could make a whole lot of noise. they may make the cfp but i just cant see a one dimensional offense going very far. trust me tho, if it came down to it, i'd love to be proven wrong.
