Regardless if Kiffin goes or stays, the smoke from the speculation will eventually suffocate a potentially historic season for the Rebs.

It will take something special to quell these flames of uncertainty.

Imagine what it will be like when we're in late December & LSU or UF haven't hired a coach & Kiffin will have to explain why that is during his press conferences.

Florida must beat Ole Miss in order for chaos to happen.

Lane has already agreed to be our coach, I'm not sure that Florida beating Ole Miss will be the best route for sabotage. Imagine Ole Miss being 11-1 post-Thanksgiving and Lane announcing he's taking the Florida job prior to the SEC Championship

LSU still won a title in 2007 after Herbie told the world Miles to Michigan. Lesticles has more chest than most though and set everyone straight.

I heard he’s swapping visors at halftime and starting the second half for the gators in a hoganesque heel turn

Signing his Ole Miss extension at half time at midfield vs UF isn't a special enough something?

Then UF has big second half comeback and upsets the Rebels and the Gators blackball any future Kiffin hire for his stunt. But, Kiffin gets to coach in Oxford for as long as he desires for his loyalty.

All of this shite is gay as frick and is why I'd rather watch NFL.

I wish the fricker would just leave. The media circus around this ain't worth it.

Ole Miss has one of their best teams ever and my support for them is at an all time low.

A combination of losing Colonel Reb, losing Dixie, NIL bs, transfer portal bs, NCAA investigations, and Lane Kiffin coaching musical chairs every season....Ole Miss football and College football as a whole has become tough to enjoy

It's already done, most OM fans I know are sick of having to deal with this every other year...dude is a narcissist and hasn't changed- the past few months of trying to rebuild his image is gone

I feel badly for Ole Miss.
If Kiffin does take the Florida job he will have fortified his image as a gun for hire with no loyalty.
He has already undermined this season for Ole Miss by not signing a contract extension which I'm sure could be leveraged by the Florida offer.
But in the end he might feel he has a better chance at a NC at proven winner like Florida. He is somewhat similar to Steve Spurrier in personality.
But from my perspective his legacy could be improved considerably by winning a NC at a dark-horse like Ole Miss.

Wait. You changed real quick. You went from Lane will never leave and OM is a better job than Florida. Florida is done. It’s a new age. NIL changed everything.

What happened?

Stay strong. Lane isn’t leaving OM.

If he has not signed his extension past the conference championship games and UF has not made a hire he will be suspended with pay.

There is 0 chance we let him coach a playoff game going to UF next year.

You must be blind if you thought he was rebuilding his image for Ole Miss, and not to sell himself to bigger programs who wouldn't have hired him in the past due to his immaturity.
