It seems like they get a solid hire every single time.

I mean, with that schedule, throw a head set on a blowup doll and it would win bigly...

According to OSU, Earl Bruce, John Cooper, and Luke Fickell were all duds since they were “relieved of coaching duties by the school”.

They were lucky to get Tennessee and Texas in the playoffs

One would have to go back a century, and even that guy wasn't terrible.

Fickell had a bad season, but that was a tough situation.

John Cooper was by far the worst in game coach the Buckeyes have had in a very long time. He was like 0-4 vs teams from the SEC and he had the talent to win those games. Tennessee beat them one year, Alabama beat them one year, Georgia beat them one year and South Carolina beat them. Three of those losses were by a touchdown or less. Only Carolina wasn’t close. lol go figure

As long as they keep buying Bama players and 97 transfers… there’s no need for them to fire a coach.

They have like one kid on the team from Ohio. .

And still won over 70% of his games with three Big 10 titles in 13 years. Thats a damn high standard right there. Just couldn't beat Michigan.

Orlando Pace, Eddie George, David Boston, Shawn Springs, and may others on those Cooper teams, but just couldn't stop the likes of Desmond Howard, Charles Woodson, and of course Tim Biakabatuka.

Ohio State is the most recession proof program in the history of CFB.

And now the dynasty is finally starting.

That’s called DEI. You just have a few on the team to make it “look” like you are a local school.

Name me a starter or an impact player. Please we’ll wait.

Well 3/5 of their starting offensive line and a starting running back named Lamar “Bo” Jackson are from Ohio. Not to mention startingLBs Sonny Styles and Arvell Reese. They are pretty good

They are more successful recruiting TX, FL, GA these days with NIL.

They usually have much more talent than any other team in their conference and region. No much competition at all up there. Guaranteed 10 wins every year.

He sucked against Michigan AND he rarely won bowl games. His two biggest bowl wins were against Arizona State and Texas A&M. He was James Franklin before James Franklin

I was very young when he was here, but I do remember some good teams. Perhaps if I were older, I would be negative.

Salty much?

Ohio state officially has 30 players from Ohio. When you have the all time highest winning percentage in cfb history (.737) and only two losing seasons in 60 years, recruits want to come from across the land. As far as transfers, we have only taken 5 or 6 per year.
