Big win. Won without Dia or Storr having efficient nights which is a good sign. Hopefully Memphis wins a lot of games and this eventually moves into quad 1 win.

Kam was unreal. Other than the freethrows. Not an awful crowd for a weeknight 8pm tip either.

Also? How did that big dickhead from Memphis not get a tech?

He might very well be the real deal.

I was there last night and spent half the game reading about the team trying to catch up. Literally Dia and Klafke are the only two guys on the team from last year whose name i even recognize.

I was sitting with my buddy and the conversation was going like this:

Is that the guy we got from France?

Yeah he's from France but we got him from High Point. But we got another guy from France too. He's never been to college but he's rated as a Sr because he's been playing pro ball for years.

Is that the guy we got from Kansas?

No that's the guy we got from LSU.

Is that the kid we got from Kentucky who scored 5000 points in high school?

No that's the kid from Brazil. He just cut his hair.

Etc etc etc

It will take me until January to learn the team. That will last for 60 days and then it all break up again and I'll have to start over.

that was my third game and I’m still not positive who all the new people are. I didn’t even know both our French people weren’t directly from France.

Yeah, the roster turnover was unreal. That said, we brought in some serious talent. Storr has one of the prettiest shots I’ve seen. That white kid from Kentucky hopefully got out of his own head after some shots dropped.

Did you see that kid in the Memphis jersey front and center in the student section? That better not happen again. Embarrassing.

We looked like shite down the stretch. Should have beaten that bunch by 10 plus at least. But that's hoops this time of the year at least. Not sure Memphis is going to turn out to be any good, but we'll find out. Just have to make sure you don't lose those type games at home so mission accomplished.

He did so well and couldn’t make his fricking free throws at the end. Seriously thought we’d let it slip away, but them Memphis did the same thing.

Memphis is a tough match up early in the season. They’re fast they’re scrappy they’re physical and they hustle.

Always a good win on your resume beating Memphis

And a good litmus test early on of what we are/can be

I’m excited for the season… and also gotta figure out who the hell is on the team after all the upheaval

I don't want anyone to know who we are.

I want everyone to not take us seriously.

I want to fly under the radar until it's too late and teams are hit with a hammering, right cross.

I have yet to go to a game at the Pavilion. I need to grab a couple tickets. What's the parking situation for basketball games?

Try to get a pass in one of the tad pad parking lots if possible , or just park on down fraternity row by the tennis courts or something

I would personally avoid the parking garage, unless you knew you could get on the first floor

Otherwise you’ll be at the top and a 1,000 cars are trying to back out and go down just like you all at the same time and you’re stuck in the garage . That seemed so miserable .

I always park near the track and field facility. Easy walk, if not a bit cold depending on the month/time.

I mean it’s the tad pad, the a/c not working is on brand. At least it didn’t rain. Also, the catering was meh.
