JUST IN: Man accused of throwing coins and shouting "f*** the Jews" at Dave Portnoy outside a Mississippi pizza shop has been charged, according to TMZ.

20-year-old Patrick McClintock has been arrested and charged with "disturbing the peace."

"Every person has the right to feel safe and respected in our community," said Sgt. G. Brandon Lovelady.

"Offensive words alone are protected, but when behavior disrupts a public event or risks violence, the Starkville Police Department will take steps to help maintain safety and security."

The kid's a dumbass, but arresting him is even worse. He's gonna end up getting paid now. If not from the state on a lawsuit, in gofundme money on the internet. Maybe both.

But congrats to Starkville getting their virtue signally in!

While I have no love for the 13th tribe, that was a good arrest. Just fricking stupid.

I beg to differ on this right to feel "safe" and "respected" since a lot of people have a reaaaaaallllly high bar for both of those.

I don't agree with what he said and yes, he was stupid, but he has every right to say it. We do have a 1st amendment after all.

Arresting him is absurd. It's clearly a thought crime he's being targeted for..

Does this mean they are going to start arresting all the Pro Palestinian/Death to Israel protestors all over this country?

Not a Portnoy fan, but that dude deserves whatever he gets, even if it is a symbolic misdemeanor.

A national media figure shows up in your town and you go full on 1962KKK on him? What an idiot.

Wish he's throw some coins at me. I could use a little walking around money.

We'd probably be better off if we reserved love, dignity and respect for the individual until the individual proved unworthy of said respect.

Or, just blanket hate. You do you.

It's a 1st amendment violation. Just call him a dumbass and move on. Now they are just making it a thing and people are going to stick up for his right to be wrong/dumb.

This idea people don't have a right to be offended is dangerous and I want no part of it.

He may get money from a left wing org, but IIRC gofundme doesn’t allow fundraising for criminal defense and if he was throwing stuff he’s guilty as charged.

Lol, the only love that tribe has is for your underaged daughters and sons.

They hate us and want to replace us.
